“Not a big 'supermarket', but they have the essentials. They have some really good meat & deli products such as marinated meats, deli meats & cheeses, a nice selection of greeting cards, some local merchandise, etc. They also carry a large selection of beer and wines.There's also a full-service Post Office counter in the store, so that's a plus too. It's nice to have a local market, especially one that has a really GREAT owner/operator. Carlos is a very personable and very accommodating local store owner! Just what a small town like Paxton needs.”

“I love going to Sturbridge Gas. The store is always super clean, well organized, and fully stocked every time I stop by. “Some people just like to trash talk workers. Like the most recent, the "girl with the mask and talks like a 9 year old" does her job far better than anyone i have ever seen. “Well, I just met Evelyn, famous from other people’s reviews here. Those reviews are not wrong. Avoid Evelyn, use self checkout if you can. If you can’t, and Evelyn is working, I’d recommend leaving for a different CVS. The pharmacy staff was extremely friendly and helpful though. Otherwise this visit gets 1 star.”
“Occasionally I will zip down Route 20 in an attempt to avoid traffic between Sturbridge & Auburn on the Mass Pike, and this is a great place to stop for gas, snacks, restrooms and McDonald's (if you can't get enough of the Twinkies and other delights inside). The gas is part of Mobil rewards, and the pumps don't have the annoying ads which are loud enough to wake someone 1 second from death; there are ads playing on the pumps, but no sound whatsoever. Right turn only when exiting on Route 20 (right is Eastbound) so if you need to go west, just go out the other exit and turn at the light so as not to annoy the nice driver behind you!”
