CVS, a brand-new store located in Spencer, MA, has received mixed reviews from its customers. The store is described as clean, well-marked, and maintained, with a knowledgeable and helpful staff. The pharmacy, in particular, has received praise, with one customer commending the employee who administered their young daughter's COVID-19 vaccine. However, the store has also faced some challenges. The entry and exit areas are reported to be tight, with the same area used for both. The signage can be confusing, especially when it intertwines with the drive-through pickup. Additionally, the aisles are narrow, making it difficult to navigate with a shopping cart. The self-checkout registers have also been a source of frustration for some customers, as they often experience issues, and employees are unable to provide a clear explanation. Customers have also noted that the store seems understaffed at times, leading to longer wait times for assistance. Despite these challenges, one customer highlighted the exceptional service they received from a staff member named Jessica, who was understanding and provided great advice when the customer needed help with their anemic medication. Overall, the CVS store in Spencer, MA, offers a mixed experience, with a clean and well-maintained facility, a knowledgeable staff, and a convenient pharmacy, but also some logistical and staffing challenges that impact the customer experience.

Well, I just met Evelyn, famous from other people’s reviews here. Those reviews are not wrong. Avoid Evelyn, use self checkout if you can. If you can’t, and Evelyn is working, I’d recommend leaving for a different CVS. The pharmacy staff was extremely friendly and helpful though. Otherwise this visit gets 1 star.

The people working there seem to be very knowledgeable about products they carry.
