Prices maybe slightly higher than larger liquor stores, but the convenience of being less than 2 miles from Old Silver Beach makes up it. “Lots of options for alcohol and plenty of snacks. Limited options for non-alcoholic drinks though (e.g., no Coke Zero). Service is okay and they do stay open longer than most other businesses in the area, which is nice. However, if you are traveling from far away or are in a hurry, note that they do close briefly during business hours on occasion and sometimes even a little early.”

“It is a small store, compared to some others, in a 4 store mini mall, but one that carries a nice selection of beers wines & liquors. They also carry a dozen or so cigars. On top of that, Tuesdays are senior citizens days with 10% off beer & cigars!!”

“Bogdan at Jim's Package Store was recommended to me for the rehearsal dinner and welcome party for my son's wedding in September. I had to bring all the liquor, mixers, and garnishes in and had no idea how to calculate the amounts for the 2 events. Bogdan asked me a few questions about the size and makeup of the guest list and provided me with a spreadsheet detailing everything I might need for the evening. He was 100% spot-on about the variety and amounts I needed, and even calculated the appropriate amount of ice. They delivered my order to the venue and when it was over, they collected what was left over and I received credit back for anything that was unopened. I would recommend Bogdan and Jim's Package Store wholeheartedly for any event.”

“How does this place only have a 2-star rating? It's a well-stocked liquor store with a good selection of wine and beer as well. The store also stocks some basics in terms of snacks and dairy products including some good cheeses. The staff, as with many places on the island, can seem curt at times but if you can break through their tough exteriors, they can be friendly and fun. Given their location and hours, this is a great place to go for various needs.”
