Sandy Neck Motel is a renovated, old-school motel in a great and quiet location near the beach with a gorgeous walking path. It offers a truly decent place to stay at a fair and reasonable rate. The rooms and suites are clean, roomy, and not sandy, with some featuring a nice kitchenette setup with lots of room and multiple TVs. Accommodations include comfortable queen beds, AC, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom, providing a pleasant stay and a quiet night's sleep. Some details could benefit from tightening up. The wall Heat/AC unit can be fussy and require troubleshooting. The in-room coffeemaker may not work properly, and the vending machine might only take coins. There is no daily cleaning service, the water can take a long time to heat up, and the walls are thin. The parking lot does not have painted lines. Overall, it is a really nice place to stay, and many guests would stay again, return, and recommend it to others.
The owner is very nice, treating potential guests with high respect and is very understanding of their needs. Will have his place as number one choice when staying at the Cape
