The Richard is a beautiful, cozy, and charming boutique hotel in Edgartown with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location is perfect, amazing, and very handy. It is right in downtown Edgartown, a very short walk from shops, restaurants, and the shuttle buses, making exploring the island easy and stress-free. The staff is wonderful, friendly, helpful, warm, professional, and welcoming, providing exceptional and world-class hospitality. The service is thoughtful with many little details above and beyond. The hotel offers amazing breakfast with homemade pastries and granola, plus afternoon warm and truly delicious cookies and fresh baked goods throughout the day. The rooms are lovely and cozy, the courtyard is a wonderful place to relax, and the sitting area with a fire is priceless. It is a fantastic choice for a couple and is highly recommended. Guests love this place so much and cannot wait to return.

Such a beautiful place with lovely and cozy rooms. Ellen was so welcoming and both staff member we met were amazing! Everything was perfect from the homemade pastries and granola to the beautiful grounds and room. Highly recommend for a couple and definitely will return!
