“Greenfield Savings Bank has recently redone the building they reside in for the South Deerfield, MA branch and it came out beautiful. During construction it was somewhat annoying to continue to play the guessing game when it came time to figure out which door you had to go in that day because they worked on the building without closing the actual branch but that's a small price to pay considering they could have just closed the bank and forced all the customers to do their banking elsewhere or use another GSB branch in the meantime. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant, and the lines inside move quickly so there is not usually much of a wait if any. They offer free checking AND savings accounts with online billpay, debit card, and a free gift for opening an account included. The gift changes throughout the year, for example at one time it was an umbrella, another was a bbq knife, prong, and spatchulla grill set, and even a puree machine from black and decker was offered once. Most of the items are relatively high quality and more then you would expect from a giveaway. Something I thought was nice also was the bank provides a local branch phone number so you can deal with any problems immediately unlike a lot of the bigger banks that only offer 800 numbers and it takes 20 minutes just to figure out what you need and there is not a chance to get to an actual branch. Overall I would absolutely recommend GSB as an option for your banking needs if your in the Western Mass Franklin County area. They offer 6 different branches I believe and the main headquarter is in Greenfield, MA.”

“I've been with Freedom a couple of years and they're always pleasant to deal with. Not a huge fan of the phone customer service who were not helpful during a series of unfortunate transactions resulting in over $100 in fees. I did go to the Northampton branch in person instead where the manager overheard me speaking with a teller to try and sort it out. She immediately waived all of the fees for me and I left very happy as I was not expecting that positive of an outcome! The people in the branch are friendly, flexible and helpful. Will definitely be back.”

“Terrific people! I was buying out my wife's lease on her 2018 Subaru Forester. Having never done this before I needed advice and help along the way. I called Subaru financing first. I asked them what the best rate was I could get in this vehicle.? They said 5 percent. I had a very high score on my credit I asked this is the best rate I can get? The answer was yes. I then contacted my bank where I have been doing business for at least 25 years. They said they don't really get involved in car loans. Then I went home and got onto the PNCU website. I'm looking at rates for used vehicles. Thinking that I might not be reading their information correctly I called the Granby office. They transferred me to Sandy. I explained what I was trying to do. She said I was reading their rates correctly and that she could help. The rest is history. I have been recommending ever since. I will be using them again. Great job”

“So...full disclosure, I do not actually have an account with FB, I have to use FB for my work. I often need to go in and deposit checks. I saw some negative reviews and wanted to post that the king street branch has always been helpful to me, and even found a mistake in my math and helped me fix it. I appreciate the FB staff.
