“Opened up a savings account at Florence Bank (formerly Florence Savings Bank) in 1968 at the age of 15. Have lived in Florence my entire life and have all good things to say about this bank. First car loan (1972)...checking account.... mortgage...home equity. All good. Taught by my parents to do business locally and always have and always will. The bank gives out $150,000 to local non profits in the area every year. Helps out our American legion baseball team financially every year. I honestly believe that many of the employees of some of the national banks downtown couldn't find Arcanum Field in Florence without their GPS navigation system.”
“Big shout out to Andrew at customer service for getting my overdraft fee taken care of. Something happened with the payroll of the place I work. so my check wasn't in my account in time for when my car insurance took my deposit out and they dismissed the overdraft fee. 10/10 highly recommended Florence Bank!”

Even though this location does not have cash, the staff always takes their time to walk me through the process of using the Virtual Tellers, and honestly it has been so easy. Every interaction I’ve had with the Virtual Tellers has been pleasant. The team at this branch stands out. The girls here always greet customers with a smile, and you can really feel their positive energy as soon as you walk in. They are patient, friendly, and always willing to help. “Reviewing this branch after a terrible experience at the South Deerfield branch where a teller made a $500 error in my account without contacting me or returning/insuring my funds. Their corporate 1-800 customer service number also was extremely unhelpful and cold transferred me multiple times.
I just want to say that everyone at this branch has been nothing but kind and helpful to me over the years, especially the older gentleman whose name I unfortunately can’t remember in this moment.
After my experience in S. Deerfield, I can’t recommend banking with M&T, but if you do bank with them, this is the branch to go to.”
