After waiting 40 minutes at Home Depot, only to learn they weren't able to cut a replacement Toyota car key (newer than 2010 are impossible, apparently), I finally visited Aubuchon Beverly.
Elizabeth cut the key by hand in about 10 minutes! So easy!”
“On a road loaded with bright, flashy or garish retail, this hardware store is subtle. I had past by multiple times before I realized it was there. That was unfortunate. As a technician and builder I use a lot of tools, hardware and components. Every item I have needed I have found here.I have a habit of walking into a store, not knowing what I need for a task but "Looking for an idea" , this is a perfect place for that. I have found great solutions for problems this way. I have also found that an employee will, unlike larger places, will ask you if you need help. They seem to be genuinely friendly, ready to assist and above all, useful.I build guitars and have found far more paint, wood treating and miscellaneous for finishing them here than any other hardware store around.If you miss the feeling of walking into a real hardware store, a place you can buy John Deere Yellow paint, #6 brass wood screws and a 4-40 plug tap then stop by, I am sure someone there will help you.”

“My third visit here. Don't let the size fool you, there is a lot here under one roof. Wanted to support local business, came here for yard bags and discovered so much more (even a bee house, not a hive, but a resting place between the hive and flowers). Pleasantly surprised to see they do all sorts of repairs, vacuums, screens, lamps. For only $15 the gentleman showed me why a family member's lamp was inconsistent. He repaired it and tightened it up. Thank you so much!”

“Great store with everything you need. They just expanded to add even more items. Store is organized, clean, and staff is always helpful.Zak and the fellow who wears a winter hat was very helpful yesterday when I needed help with a project. Too bad the owner of the parking lot can’t fix the parking lot hot top, paint new lines and keep up the parking lot island landscaping. The parking lot lights don’t work and need painting. The sign entering the shopping area is over grown with weeds and needs painting. I am grateful to the store owners who are still here serving the needs of the community, I just wish the owner of the property was a dedicated to the towns people as the shop owners are.”
“I just used HD’s Rental Center for the first time this weekend. There was only one gentlemen working the counter so I had a little bit of a wait before I got my aerator. But, he acknowledged and apologized for the wait. He was also kind enough to help me load and offload the aerator and even let me borrow a strap for the ride home.
The aerator worked great. I brought the tool back a few hours early so my total was less than I expected.
Overall this was a great experience! My only advice would be to budget a few extra minutes in case there’s a line.”

He was on top of the problem, resolved it and even volunteered to go pick up and deliver my order himself. He showed what Customer Service should be all about. Need more like him.”

“I have done business with Georgetown Door and Window for many years and have always enjoyed an excellent experience. They have been my go-to source for door hardware spanning a series of home renovations and improvements. In every case, I have found the proprietor to be competent, helpful, friendly and service-oriented. Over the years, he has helped us organize six different entry locks to operate with a single, common key.
Our most recent experience with him went way beyond the norm for excellent customer service. Due to a 'mishap' with a house key, we felt it prudent to replace all six door locks to our house. At a significant savings for us, the proprietor reconfigured all of our original locks to operate with a new common key. This work was accomplished in four hours.
