“I brought my car to Gloucester Autobody last week after being involved in a accident that heavily damaged the left side rear door. Really couldn't be more impressed with the quality of the work done. They ended up replacing the door. The paint was flawless, body work looks better than new, alignment of the door is perfect, opens and closes like new. In addition to the impressive body work, the job was completed ahead of schedule at a very fair price and the car looked like it was just detailed! Best autobody shop experience I've had, and I've had a few.”

“Great experience! On the road from PA going to Bangor. Came in yesterday with grinding brakes. Pat looked at them and said bring it back in the morning. I told him I had to get to Bangor the next day. He said what’s the latest you have to get going? I said 2. He said that should work.
Came in at opening at 8am. Took a walk to George’s restaurant (which I highly recommend). Came back at 9:30. All done. On the road.

“When I was young and just getting into the car world, my grandfather looked me in the eye and said Sam, if you want your car fixed right, go see Warren Whitehead! He's the best in town. Well I have been going to Whiteheads since I was a teen and I'm 54 now, I saw Jim when he worked with his dad and watched him grow into an excellent mechanic just like his father. I saw Warren hand his business down to his son and my trust never wavered because before Warren handed it down to Jim, Jim was already doing great work on my car. And his mechanic Steve, what can I say about Steve? I had an old Dodge Caravan that made knocking noises when stepping on the gas or slowing down and on bumpy roads. I brought it to a mechanic I was using for awhile because he was inexpensive due to the fact he worked out of his garage at his home and had little overhead. He told me it was my struts and $380 later which was actually a great price for getting two struts down, and I drove it away and it still made the same noise. I said that's it I'm going back to Whitehead, I'd rather pay more and get it fixed the first time. So I brought it to Whitehead and Steve was the one I explained things to do he worked on my car. He calls me up in a couple of hours and says your all set. I said really? He said yeah noise is gone. I cringed and said what's the damage? He said $66. I ssid your kidding what was the problem? He says you had a broken motor mount and I was able to weld it back together. So if you want honesty and Quality work, Take it to Whitehead!”

“If I could give ten stars I would (and I don’t typically write reviews). Being new to town and having a VW which is expensive and difficult to fix, I struggled to find a good, reliable, and honest mechanic. The search ended with Joe at top gear auto. Not only did I get honest and great work, but more than a few times he helped me out in a pinch, even when very busy, showing true appreciation for my business. I have dealt with all types of people and can tell when someone is not on the up and up. Joe is an honest to goodness, upstanding business owner who takes care of his customers old school style… highly recommend for all types of vehicles, including foreign cars. “Had a great deal of work done on an 88 Fiero GT. Transaxle work,tranny cables replaced,tires and a bunch of little things to get it to pass inspection. Working on these cars can be trying at times and J&B did a great job. Bob and Jamie are long time professionals. They take the time to get the job done correctly and don’t take shortcuts. I will definitely have them do work in the future. Highly regarded A+ experience!”

“I leased my first new car from Sudbay this week. I went in on Saturday and was greeted by Ryan Martell. Ryan was very friendly and listened to what I was looking for, and went through different options I would have depending on different vehicles I was thinking about. He showed me different years, makes, and models online and priced out different buying options for each. Once he had it narrowed down a bit, he showed me a few cars on the lot and asked if I wanted to test drive any of them. I then went on a test drive with Ryan, who had his own route mapped out which made it easy to just focus on the feel of driving and not worry about where I was going. Once I settled on a car with Ryan, he and Steve worked together to figure out my lease with the years and price points I was looking for. They made it easy to see the different options for how I wanted to pay for the lease since it was my first time doing so. I ended up leasing my Ram Truck from them and I am not only in love with my new truck, but the work done by Ryan and Steve made the whole process real smooth, and also very quick. I was able to go in Saturday to look at different models, test drive, and get price quotes. I went back in Monday and was able to drive out of the lot the same day with very attentive work done by Ryan and Steve. Highly Recommend getting any vehicle from Subday Motors.”

Any new Gloucester customer should be aware there is an auto shop/gas station in Georgetown, MA, about 20 miles to the west on Rt 133 that goes by the same name. My Google map sent me there when I used the name Route 133 Auto to get directions...Not where I'd made the appointment. The folks in Gloucester were understanding and accommodated my late arrival.”
