“Brought my 04 WRX to John back in February for a 4 wheel alignment and steering issue. I dropped the car off at 7 a.m and I got the car back at lunch time the same day. John explained what he adjusted and what caused my steering to become tight at certain points. It’s been 3 months now and my 19 yr old Subaru feels like a brand new car. “This place has the most genuine, trustworthy guys. Went to Meineke in Gloucester and they told me I had a problem with my front ball joint and "it was an emergency as the tire would collapse into the car when I was driving" and tried to charge me $259 for them to fix it. I then took my car to J & B for a second opinion, and they confirmed there was NOTHING wrong with the ball joints and my car was perfectly safe to drive. Can't thank these guys enough for saving me $250 and for not trying to take advantage of me not having any knowledge about cars. Will definitely be taking my car only to this shop from now on!!”

“When I was young and just getting into the car world, my grandfather looked me in the eye and said Sam, if you want your car fixed right, go see Warren Whitehead! He's the best in town. Well I have been going to Whiteheads since I was a teen and I'm 54 now, I saw Jim when he worked with his dad and watched him grow into an excellent mechanic just like his father. I saw Warren hand his business down to his son and my trust never wavered because before Warren handed it down to Jim, Jim was already doing great work on my car. And his mechanic Steve, what can I say about Steve? I had an old Dodge Caravan that made knocking noises when stepping on the gas or slowing down and on bumpy roads. I brought it to a mechanic I was using for awhile because he was inexpensive due to the fact he worked out of his garage at his home and had little overhead. He told me it was my struts and $380 later which was actually a great price for getting two struts down, and I drove it away and it still made the same noise. I said that's it I'm going back to Whitehead, I'd rather pay more and get it fixed the first time. So I brought it to Whitehead and Steve was the one I explained things to do he worked on my car. He calls me up in a couple of hours and says your all set. I said really? He said yeah noise is gone. I cringed and said what's the damage? He said $66. I ssid your kidding what was the problem? He says you had a broken motor mount and I was able to weld it back together. So if you want honesty and Quality work, Take it to Whitehead!”

“I generally do not post reviews but I wanted to provide a 5 star review for Extreme Truck & Auto. After a month of trying to determine what I was going to do with my truck that had a hydraulic lifter issue with bent rod I brought it to Sean and his team. They diagnosed the problem on a Thursday and my truck was ready to pick-up the next day. They saved me thousands of dollars when compared to the local dealership. They both go out of their way to make you feel at ease during the entire purchase process. Blake knew everything about the truck that I was interested in. “Stopped in to attempt to get my trailer hitch properly fitted after a failed attempt at Advance Auto. The shop that installed it originally had us in something that was unsafe, a 2inch box with a 1 7/8 ball bolted into it. It was wiggling all over the place. Rebecca went above and beyond, not only ensuring the pieces she sold us fit on my car, but put them on there herself in the parking lot! As a clueless woman when it comes to cars, she totally saved me a huge hassle. She did all this, in the middle of the COVID pandemic, with a mask on and all. I had to stay outside or close to the door as my 4 year old waited for me in the car. She was incredibly generous and helpful! I couldn’t have asked for more.”

“Brought my car in for an oil change and new wiper blades and to check my brakes as they were making the grinding and rubbing sound. I was told on pick up there was nothing wrong with brakes. But I was told the alternator belt has a few spider cracks in in but its NOT an emergency. I asked if it should be changed because of the long trip and Im told no, it can wait til the next oil change,,,, I left and headed home and heard and felt the same rubbing and grinding in brakes, Called them back and brought the car back. I was then told I only had 20% left on the front brakes! I asked if they actually checked the breaks earlier and got no response. I told him how upset this was as I was taking a 3000 mile trip! At my request I had them do all 4 brakes. Next day, I lift the new wind shield blades to clean the windows for the trip and one falls off in my hand. Back to Meineke and ask them to put it back on and they struggle with it. I ask if its defective and they say nothing.... then they put a new one on. Fast forward to Florida 2 weeks later.... The alternator belt breaks on me. I'm in a city where I know no mechanics. Luckily a friend recommends one and He was terrific in helping me immediately, But this is the belt that was "no emergency and could wait til the next oil change???" What would happen if I was on route 95 where you can go miles and miles with no exits??? I am SO done with this company. Never again. Next letter is to Corporate Office.
