“A year or so ago I had my 2016 Lexus GX460 in to these guys for exhaust manifold leaks that a service shop down the road wasn't comfortable handling. Joe and his team called me quickly after getting it into the shop and walked me through what needed to be done. Joe was familiar with this model SUV and suggested a few other areas to be reinforced due to common issues. Overall the experience was seamless, Joe was super easy to work with, they did great work, and I thought the price was very reasonable.

Fast forward this weekend when I hit a frost heave in VT and knocked something loose. Joe was able to get me in a couple days after and called with great news that it was only a rotted out heat shield that was making all of the commotion. He also asked if there was any other concerns and gave me a quick summary of the current condition of my suspension and brakes from what he could see. Just a testament to their level of customer service and honesty.

“First off--Advance has DieHard batteries! I only learned this in the past year or so, and it's great news.

I'm so glad I went to this Advance Auto location. I'd been told by another one nearer to me, over the phone, that I needed to be there in daylight--which I was unable to do with my work schedule, and I really needed a battery. So I called the Hanover location, where I was told I could show up at a time in the evening when someone could install the battery.

I did not get the name of the woman behind the counter who initially started helping me when neither of us could be sure whether our locally purchased Honda had come from Canada; she got out the US battery, and based on the size, it turned out that the car has a Canadian battery after all! She processed the return and swapped it with the right battery and was setting up to install it, and then a man named Paul arrived, who said he would be glad to install it because he didn't mind the freezing cold (!). He got the old battery out and the new one in, and the car is running great.

Big thanks to both of them! This will be my go-to place for automotive items from now on.”
