Been regularly going there since they do carry whatever I can't find at the big dealers, and the sons are the most helpful and kindest dudes you will ever meet. “Meant to write this a while ago. I love Daddario. Great local mom and pop hardware store. It's the perfect place to quickly grab a few things for your household needs. The customer service is amazing, they always ask to help you find something immediately when you walk in, which makes it a very quick stop. I don't think I have ever spent more than 2-3 minutes in the store. Always incredibly friendly, prices are fair, and they are always super nice to my son (they gave him candy last time which made his day and now he wants to go back all the time haha)”
“Rocky’s Ace Hardware in Millis, MA is always helpful and attentive to its customers. But the experience I had yesterday was truly exceptional. The battery in my car fob died, and I couldn’t start the car. Justin at Rocky’s Ace Hardware located the correct battery, and opened the fob and replaced it for me. It wasn’t that easy to maneuver the fob to get it open, and then figure out how to release the battery. I’m so grateful to Justin and all the employees at Rockys!!”

“We needed playground wood chips for our back yard. Called Sam White & Sons in Medfield and were able to schedule a delivery within a few days. I ordered 5 yards and that was a bit too much (the guy on the phone estimated 10-14 yards, that would be enough for a whole school playground...)The truck driver was excellent, managed to maneuver the truck thru our driveway (somewhat narrow with overhanging tree limbs) into our back yard. He was professional, kind and friendly.We bought what they call "certified playground wood chips", but I was disappointed because a lot of it is thin sawdust, the fine fibers get into your nose and throat even when the material is wet, you need to wear a mask when spreading it around. I doubt it will last more than a couple of years. My advice is to order the coarse wood chips, I think that's the stuff you see at school playgrounds, larger chips, less fine dust.Overall- they grossly overestimated the quantity we needed, and the material they recommended was not the best for our needs. But still- great service, fair prices, recommended!”

“My husband and I have been shopping at Chace Building Supply for nearly 30 years, and we always have a positive experience. Mark has worked with us on several projects. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Over the past couple of years, we have been renovating a multi-family home in Dorchester, and Mark has been especially helpful in working with our contractor on quotes, making product recommendations and setting up delivery to Boston at a very reasonable cost. When we needed to order replacement windows and sliding glass doors, Mark referred us to his colleague, Tom, who specializes in these products. Tom quickly got back to us with a quote, placed our order and set-up delivery. When one of the door handles arrived damaged from the factory, he immediately ordered a replacement from the manufacturer. “I'm not a plumber, just a guy who lives close to the store and hates Home Depot. The store is really for pros, but when I go in they are still really helpful. I try to go in when it's loaded with plumbers, but as long as I do that and keep the really stupid questions to a minimum they are fantastic to deal with.”

“I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I moved to the area 8 months ago and visit this store very often. The staff is always super helpful and pleasant. I went in at 930 on Friday night and there was a couple buying a lot of things checking out at closing. Diane had her stuff with her and was walking out the door but saw me waiting and dropped her things to cash me out. That's exceptional service. I used to manage a retail store a long time ago and you don't find people like this anywhere. Well done!! I also chatted with a couple other guys, one in the lumber section and he helped me find a piece of PVC and then walked through practically the entire store to help me find something else. And there was David in the paint department who was also super friendly and helpful and walked me to various areas as well. A couple days prior I was cashed out by super helpful woman in the lumber section. You guys have done a great job hiring some great people. Thank you!!”

What a efficient service. All the people there I met today are super nice and friendly!”
