“Excellent Work. I went to three different shops including Rick's where none of them wanted to work on my vehicle. It requires a professional to do the work properly on a high end luxury vehicle. I have a Jaguar with black metallic paint. Dark metallic colors show up any imperfections especially if the metallic in the paint is not evenly sprayed or if it is too much metaliic in the paint. So it needs to be mixed well with someone who knows howcto paint.
That issue can and will show up immediately if the work is not done correctly.
Autobody Work repair and paint is an Art. Although my vehicle is in great condition, paint over time fades snd this shop matched it perfectly. I have seen all levels of work over the years and these guys are Pro's. Father and Son team. Both are very professional courteous conscientious ambitious and clearly take pride in their work. My vehicle had two deep long creases in the fender and the bumper was gouged by whomever turned into my vehicle when parked. The fender was knocked out to repair and bumper was replaced where both were repainted. There is a lot of preparation and labor involved with removal of parts, tape masking applying and removing cleaning resurfacing painting buffing and reinstallation of parts.. The car looks so good I would not know that it had been damaged. My vehicle is a head turner where people are always stopping me to talk about the car. I am a very meticulously fussy detail oriented person so I am happy I found this shop for the repairs. The work was A 1 and it was done in a reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend !”

“These guys are awesome. I needed a headlight for my wife’s 2023 Subaru crosstrek because she went off the road trying to avoid a dear. I am currently waiting on parts to come in the mail to fix our other vehicle, therefore I needed to get her car back on the road ASAP. Westover Auto Salvage didn’t have a headlight for me BUT they found one down in Connecticut so they sent a parts runner to go and grab it. They had the headlight for me ready to be picked up THAT SAME DAY! Talk about excellent customer service! Not only that, they sold me the light for a very reasonable price too. “Having painted my own bike three times during the more than 40 years we've been together and two bikes for friends many moons ago, I know firsthand how tricky painting bike parts can be because of the multiple surface shapes in very close proximity.
I am very impressed with the results that Vinney of Jays Auto Body in Ludlow, MA did on my gas tanks, both front and rear fender, and my primary cover.
Vinney did all the body work, removing all the flaws and blended everything very nicely. He even went above what I have ever done and made sure to fill areas under the fenders that could trap dirt and water as well put on a hard undercoat to resist rock chips.
The multiple coats of color with a pearl flake topped with multiple coats of clear that came out like glass can only be described as very close to show bike quality. The color is exactly what I wanted and the pearl effect is so much more awesome than I expected and the results far exceed any of my own work.
I must also say he has a very nice down-draft painting room and runs a very professional shop as well he is very pleasant and even made it a little fun for me. His price for all the work he put into these parts for my 1948 Panhead Custom Motorcycle was very, very reasonable.
As you can see in these pictures these very nicely done painted parts makes my bike design look awesome . . .”

They did a really good job — the paint match came out great and everything looks smooth and professional.
