“This is a very decent sized supermarket. they have lots of room, multiple aisles, and a great selection on food. They had plenty of sales which was a great for me as a visitor to the area. The Big Y discount members card was very easy to get (unlike other supermarkets around the area). The only issue was the TERRIBLE cell reception in the building. We had to physically go outside to make an account. No biggie. Their produce section is very nicely stocked with lots of variety. They have a whole area just for organic foods. there is a huge selection of meats. They have a nice deli and bakery area too. I will say, I was a bit disappoint in their prepared foods, but perhaps that is just what their customer base wants. There isn't a whole lot going on in the prepared foods that is very satisfactory. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was overall a very nice place to shop”

“This is hands down my favorite store in all the Berkshires. Isabel and Bernie took a good store and, over the past three years, made it iconic. Step by step they modernized it, reimagined the offerings, staffed it with a wonderful team. When most of us were staying home during the pandemic years, they showed up every day, demonstrating to the community that when you are essential, and food certainly is, you serve even at your own peril. Thank you.Contrast it to what we typically find now in the food deserts we call our small towns. At the local "marts" you'll find highly processed foods that are terrible for you. Here, at Loeb's, you can delight in local breads, fresh meats, sandwiches made with love, organic vegetables, food staples that are good for you. All at prices that are reasonable! Who knew it was possible. Bernie, Isabel, all I want for Christmas is for every small town in America to have a store, and store owners, with your vision and dedication to the hard work of being the best you can be. Keep it up. You make the challenge of greatness look so simple when in reality it is an art form.”

“We love Price Chopper brand of Albacore Tuna. When it's on sale, we stock up. We will buy it without the "sale" price, just not as much. The store is well stocked & clean. Workers are friendly & helpful.”

“Super small market but carries an amazing selection of Hispanic food. I was amazed by the different things I found and loved that I found some of the Venezuelan staples (I stocked up).”

“Excellent coffee, good breakfast sandwiches, nice small-town atmosphere. If only the staff and owner could greet the customers with “good morning”, it would be a very enjoyable place.”

“My family and I have been shopping here for 50 years. The sandwiches are great and the cheeses are excellent. There is a large collection of wines over a wide price range. There is a good selection of jams and hard to find condiments. The owners and the staff are very nice. It has an old-time feel and I like the fact that it has been family-run for over 100 years.”

“If I owned a grocery store, I'd want it to be like Guido's Fresh Marketplace. It's not cheap, but the quality is very good, which translates to value because what I place in my body is important. In addition, the employees are personable, caring and professional and make shopping here enjoyable.”

“We usually go here for breakfast, and we recommend the EXCELLENT breakfast sandwiches - our favorite is egg, cheese, & ham on their delicious brioche buns. We ask them to make it with 2 eggs, then we split the VERY LARGE sandwich between the two of us - perfect for a filling breakfast that's not "too much." Tonight we switched it up and tried their dinner menu instead - we ordered shrimp scampi and their ribs with coleslaw and potato salad, and both were excellent! The scampi was prepared in a light wine and garlic sauce, with lots of fresh spinach and grape tomatoes, and a pinch of red pepper flakes to add a little heat. Plenty of fat shrimp, cooked just right. The ribs were very good - the spice rub was a little too sweet for our taste, but otherwise very tasty and cooked until nice and tender. The house-made side dishes of coleslaw and potato salad stole the show, however - coleslaw was fresh and flavorful with the perfect amount of horseradish and celery seed, and the potato salad was chunky and rich with bacon. We ordered a side of fries for good measure, and they were perfectly prepared - crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, not at all greasy so we knew the cooking oil was at the perfect temperature, and it tasted very fresh. The only reason we give Elm Street Market 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't have an onsite liquor license, so we couldn't enjoy a glass of wine with our delicious dinners. Next time we'll order our dinners for takeout, and enjoy with our own wine at home. Wonderfully-prepared food, kind service, and a business that clearly cares about providing a great product to their customers at a fair price. We will be back!”

“I love the Co-op and have been a daily shopper since it first moved to Bridge St. So, maybe it’s my familiarity that allows these criticisms. The hot bar and salad bar need big improvements. The salad bar is boring and repetitious, sometimes even lacking a suitable protein. The hot bar is what needs serious improvements. Vegetables that are too it hard to cut with the side of a fork, soups that are unappetizing and often way too salty.I know that you’re understaffed and appreciate how difficult finding good creative's help must be but perhaps some professional retraining of the current cooks would do the trick.Lastly, along with everyone else, the overuse of plastic containers for prepared foods has to change.Thank you for listening.”

“Bill Haddad and the associates in the pharmacy get the award for being the most helpful, courteous, professional group ever. They have always gone the extra mile to help me, and to make my visits pleasant. They deserve 10 gold stars! At least 10.”

“Guidos, please after shopping at your store for 33 years I wish you would make returning an item a less fraught experience. In the 33 years which I have shopped regularly I can count on one hand the number of items I have returned. Every time I have been met with rudeness. I love your store but sometimes (rarely) an item does not meet your (mine) standards. This happened with your grilled artichokes recently which were really poor. Not a big deal, it happens. I returned it and did not have a receipt although there is no other business that sells these in the area. The manager reluctanty gave me a $6 credit (having deducted the couple of artichokes we sampled). I said thank you, she (tall, thin, blond) walked away without either apologizing or even saying you're welcome. I know this sounds silly, definitely first world problem but Guidos if you're reading this remember - folks like me are your bread and butter throughout the year. Treat your very loyal customers (which I am) and not just the summer time crowd, with a bit more courtesy. Julia Allan”

“I haven’t been there in years, but they have the best peach pie I’ve ever had in my entire life. It’s such a cute place to visit in Mass. I need to take a trip back there sometime, and hit the outlets in Lee.”

“I wish I lived closer to Guidos. I'm becoming much more aware of what garbage our national food supply has become. Guidos offers more healthy options. Local produce, non GMO, and a fantastic selection of artisan cheeses. The service is wonderful, and the ambiance is quite different from your usual grocery store. I love Guidos!”

“It's a OK location though not much residential nearby so you'd have to drive. It's near Hilton garden Inn but Guidos Fresh Market is closer. cleanliness is decent, people are friendly and willing to help. The prices I feel are ok but discounts not as good as the local Big Y so that's the reason for my rating.”

“This is for the diner portion of this business. Very friendly staff on Tuesday mornings. The guy who works breakfast is very accommodating. They are a but pricey but it is downtown stockbridge. Overall quality of the food has been good each time I have taken clients there. I have had a western omelette, a quesadilla and just eggs over easy. No homefries with the omelettes those are extra. I personally do not care since I dont eat home fries usually but people expect it. There is a $15 minimum on a credit card”

“Just like Guidos but 50% less expensive! Well I’m exaggerating however… prices are lower, aisles are wider, hours are more convenient, parking is never a problem.”

“The cheese selections are fantastic. They have quite the assortment of hard and soft cheeses from around the world. They also have different kinds of hams and prosciutto and sausages and meats, including some smoked salmon and other delicacies. They have an extensive selection of jams, jellies, hot sauces, wines, bread, candies, and frozen delicacies, such as ice cream, and refrigerated meats. Their products are of high-quality and worth the price .the staff were very helpful and helped with questions I had and some cheese choices.we purchased some Swiss cheese, prosciutto ham from Italy and smoked salmon. They were delicious.thanks!”
