“This place is great. Staff is decent and Dr McCaffery is fantastic. He is willing to hear your concerns and thoughtful enough to consider different methods of treatment.”
“We've recently moved to Hampden Vet from another clinic and could not be happier with the professionalism, the friendliness and the accommodating nature of the doctors, technicians and office staff.”
“There were wiling to do anything to help my dog and did take really good care of him and there where so nice I would recommend them to anyone love how the nurses were and the doctors did a good job I can say if my dog got sick I would totally go see them I give them a 100 percent. Thanking them for taking care of my dog”
“Great staff and the costs tend towards the industry standard, I think.
I'm sure there are places that exist *somewhere* that are a bit cheaper, but hey, I feel in very good hands here, so its worth every penny. Def not highway robbery like some places.
My cat's doctor did serious analysis with test results, and you could tell she put serious thought into how to move forward when the actual medical picture was unclear, which can be hard to find in such a fatigue inducing work environment. Hell, I wish she was my doctor.
I hear they have a great dental program too, but if you need an ultrasound or something like that, you will be referred elsewhere.
Overall, I see no reason to go anywhere else.”

“My cat recently passed away and I cannot thank the staff enough. Everyone there was so compassionate and understanding. They even sent me a condolence card and was very personalized. That meant so much to me. It just shows how much they care about their clientele.”

“Dr.Perdrizet has cared for my animals for the past 3 years and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his staff. Front desk Amy deals with tons of customers at once with the patience of a saint. Laura the vet tech is kind, personable and compassionate.
I started going here with a kitten I found underneath my porch 3 years ago and by gods blessing my first visit was paid for… I’ve always wondered who but come to believe Dr.P saw a young girl who cared more about an animals well being then her pocket. I couldn’t afford the vet at that time but my kitten was sick and I needed to know if she was healthy or not.
I’ve since returned with 2 other cats and 1 dog and still have nothing but great things to say about this practice including its affordability!!!!
For those complaining about not being able to get ahold of them, I’ve been here for the last 3 years. The key is calling more than once (as in call on Monday and then Tuesday and so on) and earlier in the day is usually better, always leave a voicemail! I know this is a hassle for some but this is a fully scheduled and booked single doctor practice. If you want the turnaround time of a corporate vet then go there but the positives to this place are a long laundry list, compared to the few cons. Dr.P is an established vet with decades of experience and offering more than just your basic routine vet care. He gives every person more than enough time in office to go over their animals needs and treats every animal as if it’s his own.
God bless this practice eternally ❤”
“Best veterinary team in the Pioneer Valley. Super caring veterinary technicians who take time to help while making sure your animals are not traumatized. The veterinarians here are top notch fantastic, we've been with this office for 15 years.”
“I've been going to this veterinarian for years. Even though the ownership has changed some of the same doctors still work there. If you're looking for a Veterinary that really cares about your pet and offers top quality service I would highly recommend”
“The staff and especially the vet technicians were just incredibly compassionate and very kind, helpful and so nice, I had to euthanize my beloved Gizmo the best little dog you could ask for, everyone loved him. They mad a very very difficult situation bearable and kept us both comfortable throughout the process, thank you ladies. Dr.Alperson was so kind and caring and what she did for me I will never forget. You are godsend to me and I’m sure many others. God Bless you and thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤”
