“Great for all my household need’s,Went in the other day, the guy on the floor helped me. Little patience because he doesn’t speak good English / a little he does but he was very helpful with helping me find something that I need. Everyone is friendly”
“Some days the store looks great, and other times it’s messy and understocked. I’ve had both good and bad visits here. The deals are decent, but customer service could be friendlier. It’s fine for grabbing discount items, but not my first choice if I’m in a hurry.”
“magical place full of awesome items cheap like you rich uncle funded your cousin to make walmart :) the five star one is up the road in norwood!! go there for any rug needs its like the arabian nights! run by cool white guys”
“This store never ceases to amaze! Always new stock of the latest trends. It is so easy to shop here and the prices can't be beat. Recently, they had Teri Jon dresses in their formal attire. Even though we are so close to this store, many come from far and wide. Check it out!”
“You can’t go wrong on many things, if ur buying cleaning supplies or hygiene product ur throwing money away if not buying here . Great prices on bedding, towels etc etc from low quality to high quality . The check out process more times then not are a nightmare, seems like there many employees but usually only 2 registers so don’t expect to get in and out of there for one item!”
“This Ocean State Job Lot always plays the best music and we are always in a great mood when we are here. The employees are very helpful and the prices are great. Particularly good for snacks and food! A real treat to visit, every time!”
“You guys...I love yall but please dont increase the merch. We are struggling and Tj Maxx is the place we can rely on for simple items at a reasonable price like Socks...I have bought them there and other items but today I notice several packs of socks increased. Its no longer worth purchasing. 6 pairs for 7.99 and literally a few weeks ago there were 10 packs for that price. Paleeeeeese keep those items at a deal. If yall need to increase anything, do so for purses and items that are not needed for daily living/work. Yall are all we got ? mercy!”
“First, what I hate about Five Below! As a corporation it's making us do self-checkout - Y-ACK ? Now what I like about it! The associates are super friendly and helpful. You get greeted with a warm hello as you walk in the door and they happen to be there. Then, there is the selection of tchotchke, whether electronics, candy, makeup, etc you'll end up buying more than you thought you were planning.”
“I’m a longtime fan of the store and was worried it wouldn’t be the same after it moved locations. Luckily the soul of the place is very much intact and I was helped by Eric, who was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. The homemade candles they carry are beautiful and the one I gave as a Christmas gift was a huge hit!”
“Manager changed, a little more staff, and the store looks much better. Now if only customers could stop abandoning and/or hiding the things they decide they don't actually want to buy. Just hand it off to a staff member who can put it away.”
“Nice little spot to grab some cheap toys for the kids. They’ve got a good mix of candy and all kinds of random stuff — always fun to poke around and see what you find.”
“The Ocean State Job Lot is where dreams are made. To whomever wrote the one star review about your shirts getting shoved in the bag, go cry your river somewhere else and show some respect for retail workers on a part-time basis. They're clothes, not eggs, sweetheart. It's a not Pier 1 Imports so next time don't go and check yourself Love all the Krazy deals with a "K". Pro-tip: don't forget to utilize the online catalog which has even sweeter deals. I love the wild surprises in the sauce or bev aisle. Try to come here at least once/week.”
“I recently purchased a LG Refrigerator from Beach Sales, the appliance was delivered, with the utmost care, their personnel is totally professional and courteous, one of the reasons I purchase all of my home appliances, the service is outstanding!!!!”
“A little slow, you sometimes cant do an easy in-n-out, but there are some decent deals on things compared to regular retail stores. (Pls do your research on when bulk buying is better)”
“Staff were friendly and greeted us. The cashier stepped out to help us find something and even gave suggestions. Some items are cheaper than anywhere else while some felt pricey. The selection is huge! Furniture, to house goods, decorations and even cookware. Definitely a good spot to check out.”
“The building is a staple in the community. Not much has changed but the name. It's started as FAMILY FOOD LAND(my1stjob), then SAV*A*LOT, & now PRICE RIGHT. Nothing bad to say bout this store. And few other stores to stop in. A nice atmosphere.”
“Just wanted to give a big shout to the staff and the manager Braden, I believe was his name? You know, this company keeps raising prices at each time they raise Prices or they trying to sneak in five dollar items(At the same quality as all the products) I continuously lose Faith in not Just the dollar tree, but many larger forces in general. But the staff and the customers are always super friendly and helpful. And the manager at the store just now really helped me out. It’s been a really stressful and hard past few weeks but this simple act of kindness made me stop and reevaluate. Dawg was just spreading happiness with that smile he gave me as I walked into the door even. Take care n thank you”
“I like that location it’s clean and always in stock with my favs! One of the employees I believe he was a Manager was off but saw me struggling to get cases of water while I had my infant. He was in line getting his own food and he still help me get three cases of water while I had my five month old so I really appreciate that. He also sent one of the floor workers to help me to my car. Price Rite is my main market for my family and I love them as a company! Can’t go wrong!”
“I love this place and have been shopping here for years. They have everything you need for your everyday needs. I would give this place a 20 stars ⭐️ but unfortunately it’s only a 5 star review. Thanks for being a awesome place to shop.”
“a gem !! get your rug game on a new level and everythgin else including hard to find things liek milk chockolate covered peanuts and all kinda kids clothing and adult bbq clothing etc !! liek your rich uncle funded your cousin to start walmart!! Many items you just wont find and bring a 100$ and u walk away with bags of stuff and new winter jacket for you brothers 9 year old girl.”
“Spanish/////I give it four stars because we went here and it's very good because it has a lot of technology things and it also has a very good manager but the cashiers who are like from Jamaica or Haiti don't seem to be good because a gum dispenser didn't want to give me anything, so I asked them to return what they took my gum from and she didn't want to, she was laughing. She said she didn't know but at the end the friendly manager arrived and just told us that we had to twist the stick So when we turned it over, it didn't come out and she said, bring more free chewing gum. And if the owner of this dollar sees this, please fire the workers who are from Jamaica, Brazil or Portugal, they are the worst cashiers I have ever met and sometimes they charge more. of what it is and they are angry about taking the money and of course the nice lady was a very kind lady from Asia :) english///////I give it four stars because we went here and it is very good because it has a lot of technological things and it also has a very good manager but the cashiers who are like from Jamaica or Haiti seem to be not good because a gum dispenser is not She wanted to give me nothing so I asked them to return what they took out of my gum and she didn't want to. “Okay so I went to the five below in the Walpole, MA and I was helped by a young, tall employee this night. He was really good at helping me find the board game I was looking for. I think his name was Sammie or something like that. He said he didn’t want the picture but since I had such a wonderful experience tonight I have attached this picture for you all. If you see him he is very helpful. Thank you”
“Clean, well organized Dollar Tree store. I stopped in here to get some bath products and their selection was good and plentiful....I guess with any dollar store, it all depends on when you visit and if the truck had just delivered the day before...that is usually the best bet for selection.I usually ask the staff what day of the week do they get deliveries and most of the time, they tell me (usually twice a week)...sometimes....they just don't know...Most items are $1.25, but nothing is OVER that price point.”
“The worker here are very nice kind and if u need help. They are fast in Responding, also this Store has Alot to offer and almost everything u need, they ever Have BETA DISH, FIGHTING FISH”
“Well stocked shelves, neat and clean. Dedicated employees. Store run by females who never complain and actually do there job! Younger generation should pay attention to work ethic!!!”

“A couple of weeks ago, Kathy and Yuleisy provided excellent customer service! They both helped me find some balloons and filled them up with helium! I was panicking because I thought I was not going to be able to find the balloons I needed for my event. However, both of these ladies provided awesome customer service with their patience and a great attitude. They officially saved my day! Thank you Kathy and Yuleisy for the great service you both provided that day!!!”
“We went to Kelo after hearing some good recommendations from guys that we met at Dillon's Russian Spa in Chelese Boston.Kelo opened recently. Tha facilities are one of the best that we have ever attended. The services were exceptional. I really recommend the platza and the scrub.I could feel they are professionals just by how they presented themselves in the beginning. We stayed in the lounge area in between sessions. We didn't order anything to eat because we had already had breakfast. We'll have to try that next time we go.We highly recommend Kelo and hope they will do well in the future.Thank you for a wonderful time.Regards,Three amigos”
“The manager Steven ( I hope I’m right about his name) was an incredible help!! I’m working on a project and he helped me find what I needed in the quantity I needed and held it for me until I could have it picked upThis man truly is a team player and cares so much for the customer!! We need more people like him!!”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
