“In the age of increasingly impersonal and inconvenient big banks, Mike (and Joan) of the Bank of America in Melrose really came through for me recently. I had a complicated situation involving the personal sale of a car to a family member, which necessitated that I deposit a personal check and then get a bank check for a dealership. As someone who doesn't work in banking or deal with these kinds of transactions often, I found the holds and timelines confusing. Mike of the Melrose office came to my rescue. He went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service to me. I can't express my gratitude for his assistance in such a time-sensitive and stressful situations. I'd also like to thank Joan for answering the phone. I had tried calling another branch earlier in the day with no answer at all.
