“I Love coming to COW. The staff are always so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. COW offers a variety of different classes to learn and grow spiritually. I have taken many classes here and I highly recommend them too.

Unfortunately, I took an abundance class on 04/19/2026,which did not match its description at all or any relation to abundance. I wish I never took the class, to me it was a waste of my money and time.”

“If you want a place to find any album ever made, there is no such place. Welfare Records is about the closest thing you will find to just that. Every record ever pressed. Knowledgeable staff, honest owner, and an overall great experience.”

“So happy to have found this gem in Plaistow. Very welcoming vibe between the friendly employees, music, and fun signage (the Heated Rivalry sign made me laugh out loud). At the 50 cent discount book bin I was shocked to find best sellers and Pulitzer finalists. My total was $23 for 15 books - what a steal! Excited to go back”

“This is a great local Christian store with good selection. Not too many of these stores left this one has lasted because it’s great!
You can special order books from them too and they will hold them for you so your money can go to a local business and not amazon .”

“Friday night, I thought I had traveled back in time to the early nineties and walked into the Barnes and Noble where I had bought my first book as a 12-year old in Burlington, MA. Classical music was playing. The books on the display tables were normal?? The staff was friendly and helpful. Even the layout of the store felt strangely familiar. I bought books. I sat in the cafe and drank tea. I finally signed up for B&N Rewards, something I have resisted doing for decades.

It was a nostalgic experience, and I will be returning very soon.”

“I knocked on the door not knowing that it was pickup only. The person who answered was very kind and when I asked politely told me that it was online order only.”

“Everyone was really nice and helpful, especially Dante as he explained everything that was happening on his side so I knew what was going on. Overall a very enjoyable experience, service was very fast and I also was told everything I needed to know in that short time. :)”
