“I had a unique size racking need that I called in and spoke with Chris about. Unfortunately they were not able to help me find the specific thing I needed, but they took the time to investigate and see what they could do. It would have been a small order, but A+ for effort in trying to help me.”

“There is a cat in this store, and despite what the photo seem to be implying, they are helpful, patient, and super nice. I love this place. Good spot for kids on a gloomy day (if you don't worry about fumes too much!)”

“This is such a great store. They are well stocked and have extremely nice and helpful staff. You can get some seasonal items here. Also, you can come here to buy Salem's orange overflow trash bags. You can also purchase new and turn in old Soda Stream canisters.”

“Thanksgiving Weekend 2022...two friends and I were in Stoneham for the Greater Boston Stage Company's production of"Little Women, The Musical" and we had some time to kill since we had planned for possible bad traffic along the way. We ended up milling around the theater area to browse. Voilà Spartan Paint & Supply! The guys inside were very welcoming, personable, helpful, and kind and it was open and it was warm inside. We were not looking to buy anything, but all three of us ended up finding something that we needed and all made purchases. I skipped the complimentary fresh popcorn, but I did score a free calendar on the way out the door! Terrific store...so much variety...impressive collection of YETI products, too. Definitely worth the trip on its own. An awesome experience.”
1 Park St, Georgetown MA 01833
“Amazing attention to detail and individual level of service, even many years after purchase. A great example of the kind of value that you should get for your money (and that’s often lacking at big box stores.). Phil’s great!”
9 Wenham St, Danvers MA 01923
“Outstanding staff and inventory. I got 6 egg laying hens. The incredibly knowledgeable staff said I should have eggs soon. I am now getting about 4 eggs a day and it's not yet been a week.”

“Brian came through in my emergency window pane situation! The glass was cut to exactly my dimensions and waiting for me when I arrived. What a refreshing service-oriented business. And the store is packed with 'some of everything' just like you need to keep your project needs fulfilled. Many thanks from an out of towner.”

“A local gem. For a small space, it's incredible how they always seem to have the hardware I need to fix whatever it is I need to fix at home. Classic small-town service, family-owned, very friendly. Huge fan.”

“Could not have been easier! I placed the order online, and all of the items had wonderful descriptions and ratings from other customers. My order was ready quickly, and it was placed right into the back of my car! Highly recommend this process!”

“Chaplin helped me out so much today. He is respectful and patient. He got a large piece I ordered in my car with no scratches and then took the time out to explain the product to me and all its features. He is so knowledgeable about all the products it makes me want to come back to the store again. The store in general is great but his help and knowledge makes people come back”
442 Main St, Wakefield MA 01880
“This is what used to be called a "mom and pop" hardware store. It's small, by Home Depot standards, but it has an amazing inventory and enough people actually interested in helping you. If you live in the community and have a need for some piece of hardware, a tool, or fixture of some kind...come here first. If they don't have it, fine, hitch up your dog sled and go to Home Depot. But start here first. The town is worth it and so are the people who run this little jewel of a company ou!”
97 River St, Beverly MA 01915
“These guys are awesome! Keith, Scott, Gary and Sean help me out every single time I come in! They have yet to disappoint me when I have a job big or small! Always smiling and super beyond helpful! I know whatever I can think up, they can always help me complete the task! Thanks guys!!”
103 E Main St, Georgetown MA 01833
“Extremely positive experience! The gentleman I worked with was knowledgeable about the project I was trying to solve for, walked me around the store showing different solutions (leading with free/ least expensive options first), and coached me through the step by step process for application. Highly recommend!”
65 Winn St, Woburn MA 01801
“A great little community based hardware store. It has limited offerings which makes it difficult to compete with bigger box stores. I support my local businesses and find it's important to keep these types of staples to make our community vibrant.”
82 River St, Beverly MA 01915
“First of all, everyone behind you call the phone is gonna ring Murray. You're not the only customer who ever wrote that and the other 3 people that agrsecond of all every time. I walk in to Monahan lumber. And I have questions on products. Or questions on how I should go about certain things. They always have sound advice, so great, one beyond. And I've been to a lot of them.”
58 Pulaski Rear Street, Peabody MA 01960
“I usually don't write reviews, but I have been so pleased and impressed with EVERYONE I've dealt with at Peabody Supply that I truly wanted to write a review. I am in the middle of a major bathroom remodel, acting as my own general contractor (never again!) and I have had to rely heavily on guidance from my plumber and staff at plumbing supply companies in my search for product. Peabody Supply is hands-down, the best company I have dealt with. I give them 5 stars for customer service, knowledge, quality, and price. Heather Reed in the Peabody location is a true pro and has been a delight to work with. The same can be said about Nick Lowery in the Kinston office. In fact, other staff that I talked to briefly by phone or in person have been great. From this day forward, they are my one and only plumbing supply source.”
136 Main St, North Andover MA 01845
“Had my sliding screen to my deck replaced. Great job very reasonable price. They also oiled the wheels so it doesn't squeak when open and closing. I didn't ask for that to be done but they did it anyways! Those are the small things that keep you going back to them. Great customer service.”
110 Main St, North Reading MA 01864

“Standard Home Depot. Wish they were all laid out the same... Cleaned out an item and a staff member clued me into the overstock area!”

“They are a great place to help you find metric sized hardware. Fasteners bolts. Screws nuts. Cutting tools .that has to do with machine work. Engine work. Doors , hard to find hardware .that may not be found at big box stores or hardware stores.”

“I wanted to buy the 4 outdoor dining chairs that were high up on the wall display. Went to the service desk asked for help and no one came. I did ask the garden employee Jim who was outside and without hesitation he came right over and got the chairs for me. He also opened a box for additional chairs that I wanted. He saved Home Depot from a disappointed customer to one who will return again ! I almost walked out empty handed but instead bought 6 chairs ! Yay Jim ??⭐️ Boo to customers service department - room for improvement !”
