“Great store with everything you need. They just expanded to add even more items. Store is organized, clean, and staff is always helpful.Zak and the fellow who wears a winter hat was very helpful yesterday when I needed help with a project. Too bad the owner of the parking lot can’t fix the parking lot hot top, paint new lines and keep up the parking lot island landscaping. The parking lot lights don’t work and need painting. The sign entering the shopping area is over grown with weeds and needs painting. I am grateful to the store owners who are still here serving the needs of the community, I just wish the owner of the property was a dedicated to the towns people as the shop owners are.”

“These guys have always been honest and helpful in repairing our tools. We used them for Ridgid Lifetime Service Agreement for years. Unfortunately Ridgid has cancelled the program with 3rd party shops. Wouldn’t hesitate to go here for any tools or repairs.”

I’m no stranger to “The Brickyard” ironically dug up home plate for Connery Baseball Park before the rink, Gave to Baci Dinino it sits proudly in the Italian Club to this Day!”

Too often we overlook the fact that it’s the small businesses — the family-owned shop on the corner, that familiar face behind the counter that you swear you knew in a past life, his fluffy golden retriever by his side — that truly shape our communities, brighten our day, and define what makes this country strong. When we support the little guy, we’re not just making a purchase; we’re investing in the spirit and the character that keeps our neighborhoods, states, country alive.
Al, along with his sweet golden retriever, Liam, greeted me at the door, eager to help me find exactly what I needed. Throughout he shared stories, cracked a few hilarious jokes, and expressed genuine interest in my life endeavors, treating me more like an old friend rather than just a customer.
He helped me find exactly what I was looking for at an unbeatable price. But more importantly, he left me with a smile that lasted the entire day; and a renewed glimmer of faith in the prosperity of local businesses.

“Good Afternoon, I have been coming to the lumber department for years now, and began going with my grandfather back in the early 2000s to help him find cuts of wood for his job. It was a tradition we had to go there after we would eat breakfast together on my day off from school. I have always been treated with exceptional service throughout my life whenever I needed to grab some plywood cuts for a bed, or something for my family. Those boys in the lumber department do their job to the highest level of satisfaction. One day, when I was shopping recently, I was disappointed in the management's treatment of them. One of the managers was constantly barking orders at them, and being incredibly unethical in his speech. I couldn't believe it, especially because those boys do an incredible job and are always attentive and caring, part of the Home Depot's core values. It seems as if one of those managers tends to sit on his behind and eat fast food all day while the workers break their backs. I'm just calling it like I see it. Pay those boys more! They deserve it.”

“I had a great experience here. I was trying to find a windoe AC fitting and didnt find it on my own. When I was leaving, Michael from the gardening department saw me and asked if I needed help. While I found a small AC area on my own he took me to a larger area and quickly found what I needed, even though it wasn't his department. I brought it home and it installed so easily and quickly. I can't recommend a better place and I will return.”

“I usually don't write reviews, but I have been so pleased and impressed with EVERYONE I've dealt with at Peabody Supply that I truly wanted to write a review. I am in the middle of a major bathroom remodel, acting as my own general contractor (never again!) and I have had to rely heavily on guidance from my plumber and staff at plumbing supply companies in my search for product. Peabody Supply is hands-down, the best company I have dealt with. I give them 5 stars for customer service, knowledge, quality, and price. Heather Reed in the Peabody location is a true pro and has been a delight to work with. The same can be said about Nick Lowery in the Kinston office. In fact, other staff that I talked to briefly by phone or in person have been great. From this day forward, they are my one and only plumbing supply source.”
