“Quite a place to browse and purchase religious items: bibles, books, rosaries, music, baptism gowns, icons, greeting cards and so much more! The owner Denise is very knowledgeable and helpful. She can make special orders as well.”
“Annie's Book Stop is a very quaint and hospitable shop. It's a small shop that utilizes every inch to provide as many books as possible. Surprised on the very good selection of newly released books. I found a couple of good reads. The used books area can feel a bit cramped and unfortunately put a book or two back since the price was a little high for a used book.”
“Booklover's Gourmet is a fun and quirky place. Here's why: Books - There are new and used books, fiction and nonfiction, adult, young adult, and children. Gifts - A nice selection of greeting cards. Some are funny and others touching. A unique collection. Art - Every month there's a new exhibition from some local artist. Nice to view while you're browsing and you can usually purchase your favorites from the exhibit. Music - again, usually a local artist. The setting is intimate, like having someone playing music in your living room. While I haven't taken advantage of the following so I can't speak from experience, you can also find these at Booklover's Gourmet. Snacks - Coffee and various baked goodies seem to always be available. Just like a good bookstore should do. Events - There are writers groups that meet regularly. Also book signings happen occasionally. Bottom line: Booklover's Gourmet is a wonderful community resource that deserves your support.”
“Good assortment of WPI merch but be prepared to spend $70 for a sweatshirt. Check out more sizes and styles online if you don't find what you're looking for.”
“Although the selection is admittedly small, there’s a section for physical movies, and that’s more than most stores have nowadays. Amazing atmosphere. Basically grew up here—bought picture books as a kid, manga as a teen, and now criterion’s as an adult. I adore this spot & the ONLY thing I would change is a slightly bigger selection of movies.”
