“Stevo installed a new AC compressor that I'd purchased online in my old '09 Chevy Malibu. The old one was grinding (bearings maybe gone) and a bypass pulley wasn't available: I didn't care about AC working so I didn't want it recharged. They were willing to do what I wanted, which was so appreciated because several other shops were unwilling: they would only install their parts, which were hundreds of dollars more expensive than the one I chose, they wanted to recharge the AC system- basically they wanted to do things their way. The car is old and I don't want to spend money to make it perfect.
