“I purchased a 2010 Honda CRV 4 years ago from Ralphs. I was waiting to write a review to see how things went with the car but then it just slipped my mind. I found Ralphs to be very straightforward and easy to deal with. Once I finally decided on a car, it was such a simple process. There were some issues (tires, brakes, battery) that needed to be addressed and were, prior to picking up the car. There was an issue with the interior fabric that needed to be replaced and they were waiting for something to come in. When ready, I received a call to bring the car in and it was all set by the end of the day. I really don't want to jinx anything but in the 4 years I've had my car, things have been great. I would definitely recommend anyone I know to check them out and I would be happy to return for my next vehicle.”

“If you are looking for a good or new mechanic, Bob is your man. My brake lines were wasted and I had no brakes. I went to see Bob,told him the problem, and he gave me an appointment for about 4 days later and an estimate.
I brought my car in and he had it fixed and back on the road in no time and for the price he told me it would be.
He is very thorough and checked for anything else that needed repair and didn't try to sell me on other repairs that didn't need it.
I will be using Bob for all of my car needs in the future and you should trust him with your car, too.”

“I feel like people tend to write reviews when they're in the honeymoon phase of the buying process and I wanted to wait and make sure I was giving you all (potential customers of Pleasant Motors) a true and honest review. I have owned my Tahoe I bought from Brian for just over two years (purchased in July of 2020) and at this point truly couldn't be happier with things and feel the SAME way I felt the day I drove it home. My feelings on the entire process from start to finish have remained unchanged. The process was quick, efficient and HONEST. From the time I saw the listing until I drove the vehicle home was literally a matter of couple days and this was all in the height of 2020 when things were anything but normal. I saw the listing on Saturday afternoon, Brian contacted me first thing Sunday, and it was in my driveway by Wednesday. Brian even drove the truck to me (I've never had that happen) so I could test drive it near my house since I lived over an hour from his dealership. He was NEVER pushy and I honestly felt like he just wanted me to be happy. I felt the vehicle was very fairly priced and since then I've spent over $10k customizing it. I've had a lot of fun with it. It's a phenomenal vehicle and I get complimented all the time. I make sure to mention Brian and Pleasant Motors every time too. I'm definitely NOT saying that in a pretentious way either...moreso because it shows Brian really knows what he's doing. He won't just sell any car or truck. He's not a typical used car dealer. He wants quality vehicles that he can find new homes for. He cares about what he sells because he wants us, his clients, to be happy and he wants us, his clients, to remember the experience and remember him so we come back to him and refer him out to our friends and family. He wants to truly EARN your business. The financing process was also pretty seamless and the overall process was just easy...for lack of a better word. No stress, no frustration, just straightforward and hassle-free. A true “unicorn” experience during such a chaotic time in this country that summer, especially in the auto industry. I will ABSOLUTELY go to Brian when I'm ready to get something new. He was friendly, outgoing, genuine and on top of things. A no-BS kind of guy too which is rare in this business. Above all else, he wasn't "salesy," he just wanted to get me into a vehicle I was happy with. Well Brian, I am happy...still happy. Very happy too. And it's all thanks to you. All used car dealers are NOT created equal and Brian and Pleasant Motors are a clear testament to that. Thank you for a great buying/trading experience Brian. See you in a couple years!”

Mike is a no nonsense kind of guy (in the best kind of gruff Mass mechanic way! lol), but always gets right to the issue and solution, and wont try to oversell but does let you know whats needed on the car. We often bring our vehicles to him on a moments notice for tires, oil, and other mechanical needs and he's so quick with turnaround or is upfront about any delays or hurdles. “I watched from the warmth of my home the tow truck pull up to an accident on acushnet Ave. in NB around 11pm, the operator was AMAZING not only did he get the car on the truck but proceeded then to pick up and drag every piece of that car from inside the park, in the street, and sidewalk and put them in the car. The car's windows were all broken and the undercarriage and I even believe parts of the motor were every where. When he finished that he proceeded to sweep up all the glass from street and sidewalk. I have never witnessed in my 74 yrs. next month, a man so conscientious or more professional at his work. This man takes pride in his work! Not all people have that kind of work ethic, especially considering the freezing temps and wind. I will definately call Talbot's if I ever need a tow. He was out there for about 45 minutes, I am so impressed. KUDOS TO THAT DRIVER!”

“Phenomenal mechanics right here. Hard to come across good mechanics in this city. Carlos and his crew are by far the best in this city. I can't personally say if they deal with ALL cars but it can't hurt to ask.
The entire staff is very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Spanish speaking also, so, if you're having issues with language barriers, with other mechanics, give them a try. If you definitely have a classic, go to them. I don't know anyone else in this city that takes better care of them.
Carlos truly shows his passion for vehicles as well as his knowledge, he will take care of your car as if it were his own. I always get my car, stronger and better than it was, after getting out of the shop.
Can't recommend these guys enough. They don't cut corners. They don't do cheap parts or cheap work. You get what you pay for but they are absolutely affordable as well. When you're talking about this city and high costs in pretty much everything and the kind of cars being worked on etc. very affordable and reasonable pricing, numerous payment options.
Truly a hidden gem in the city of New Bedford. I'm originally from Arizona, I'm moving out of state again, but every time I am in the city (New Bedford) these are the guys I go to. I'll be moving out of state again and still be coming back here (not a mechanic there) because they are that good.

“Great people made entire process very easy as my car was in accident. The end result is you would never know car was involved in any kind of accident. The work that was done was extremely professional and in no way could you expect somewhere else to come close to the work that was done at luzo auto body A+ results when completed. Car had 8500 in damages and now car looks like the day i bought it. Even with that amount of damages with there help i was still able to save 2500 on the repairs. Thank you Luzo auto body.
