“Gerry and Devin - man you could not ask for a nicer, more helpful couple of guys. I had a unique request and Boson EBikes was the ONLY shop to respond and they were able to help me get what I needed. Soon I plan to be in the market for a new e-bike and you know where I'll be going - Boston EBikes!”
“Echoing many other great reviews, they are in fact incredibly helpful, have the answers to all my questions, thorough but quick walkthrough until I had a bike that, now a few days out, I am even happuer with than when I walked out!”
“Bike mechanics are top-notch. They looked at the bike, made some recommendations in terms of fixes, and I opted not to replace the broken part because the replacement was worth more than the bike itself. They didn't charge me for the troubleshooting they did. Their new space in Needham is larger than their previous Newton space and there are a lot of bikes to try out.”
“We had a phenomenal experience with JRA Cycles. After struggling to install our new Kuat bike rack, we visited JRA Cycles and Sean spent an incredible amount of time and care helping us troubleshoot the issues we were having in installation. They were able to immediately see me for service and Sean went above and beyond in making sure we could get our rack installed and safely on the road. Thank you!”
“We had a great experience today, buying a bike and all the accessories we needed. It was a low pressure situation, which is just what we needed. Kyle in particular went above and beyond helping us with accessories for the bike.”
“Very cool shop! Super race-oriented, they have a wide selection of gear. They were able to hook me up with a great wetsuit just a week out from my first sprint tri!”
“Edit to a review from years ago...
Joe knows his stuff. A bike that another shop could not fix, did not know how to was fixed and allowed me to get another PR for time.
The guy told me about the history of my bike, put electrical tape at a spot where I had roped the handlebars wrap...
You can see from far away that this shop is doing the work from the heart, and not as a job.
Would recommend, can't wait for the winter tune up special to bring all my bikes there.
----
Not doing any assembly in front of customers, but was told to follow up in the winter.
That Jan. call will flip this to a 1 or a 5.
Hope all works out ok, as I have 3 bikes, and potentially could be a regular customer.”
“Farina's has taken exellent care of my bike several times and I highly recommend them for bike service. Rather than immediately saying a part is broken and needs replacement, the friendly and knowledgable mechanics at Farina's have always investigated to get to the bottom of the issue and see what the options are, potentially saving time and money.
Most recently they got my old bike shifting smoother than it has since it was brand new and without the need for an expensive new shifter. I even got a follow-up call the next day to make sure everything was still working.”
“I recently purchased a road bike from this Cycle Loft to use for regular communting for work. The employee I spoke to was very patient and listened intently to my needs when describing the bike I was looking for. He asked very good questions to make sure the bike I was looking at was the right fit. I felt very well respected as he addressed me directly instead of talking through me to my husband, who was with me during the purchase. When offering me accessories for the bike, he provided very informative explanations as to why the product is helpful to make sure I have a safe bike ride, which kept me well informed, and I appreciated he accepted any decline I had to a product he offered. Overall a great experience and I feel I can trust this Cycle Loft and return to them for any bike needs in the future.”
“Great bike shop that I have been using for decades. I just got a flat tire fixed, new cables and new brakes. My bike is like new and so much easier to work. Thank YOU!”
“My wife and me are semi professional bike packers along the world with many thousands of miles traveled
We wanted to do a deep 360 maintenance to the 2 bikes before the current travel
Eric picked them up from the storage and did a pronominal professional work with his team at Trek Cambridge - we know how to appreciate talented bike work and Eric and his team are among the best you can get around the world - we proudly put the store stickers on our bikes”
“Joe and his team are so helpful, and they really know their stuff. We rented two E-Bikes and had a great day out on the Katy Trail, Their shuttle service let us skip riding along highway 47 between Washington and Dutzow, and saved us enough time that we could enjoy more of the Katy. Would definitely recommend!”
“Spectacular bike repairs, nice, fast and reasonably priced! I tried a couple of other bike shops closer to me, but the people who worked there were mean and sexist. Adi is nice and incredibly helpful. Also a good place to go if you want to BUY a bike. I'm sure they'll be my first top when I'm in the market for a new one.”
“My overall experience was good. I ordered my bike and I had to wait two weeks for delivery to the store. Initially, I was told that I would receive a text to my cell phone number when the order would be shipped, which was not the case so I had to call in several times. And in addition I called in several times to ask for the availability of certain equipment, and I was met with some resistance which I wasn’t happy with, but since I had already done business with the store I brushed it off. I wasn’t aware of a “special tax” which I was told was required by law (it’s not law just store policy) I just wanted to know what the charge was for that was added to my bill and again I was met with the resistance from behind the counter. When I picked my bike, the handlebar was off center and so was the stem they had adjusted it, but it is still a little off. Maybe they were in a rush.”
“My boyfriend had some issues with his bike during our bike ride and we stopped at Quad Cycles - they fixed it so quickly and they even lent us a bike from the shop so we could use while we were waiting for our bike to be ready, which we were so grateful for.
Really friendly staff, they even showed me how to properly manage my helmet, because they saw I was doing it wrong ?
I definitely recommend the place and will definitely go back in the future if I need anything.”
“Pierre and the mechanics at Ferris Wheels have kept my road bike in tip-top shape through a lot of riding (and wear and tear) this winter. Each time I've come in they have turned the repair around as quickly as possible. They've done wheel truing, hub adjustments, new tire installs, front derailleur/chain ring/caliper brakes, rear cassette, and bottom bracket installation. I've always left satisfied, with a smooth and safe ride. Solid people, great service!”
“Our daughter needed to replace a lock for her electric scooter that failed to unlock with a key after less than a week of use (note that the failed lock was not purchased at Cambridge Bicycle). Having only ten minutes to get to her classes located on different sides of the MIT campus, she needed a quick solution to her problem at hand -- she needed a lock, now. Therefore, she decided to go to the nearest bike shop, in this case, Cambridge Bicycle. A helpful team member suggested a very good solution, a reasonably-priced Kryptonite Original Keeper lock. As you can see in the photo, the lock works great with her scooter. As a warning to others, included are photos of the failed lock purchased elsewhere. Anyway, THANK YOU, Cambridge bicycle! You have a few new fans! :-)”
“Ordered my Orbea direct from manufacturer to Wheelworks. They were great. Assembled it and I picked it up seamlessly. A few weeks later, I went back for a professional fitting with Ed. If there’s one thing I will suggest it is to do that. Amazing difference in feel with the bike actually adjusted properly, and Ed gave a lot of insight into proper mechanics that I’ve not received elsewhere. 10/10 go get fitted with Ed.”

“The team here is fantastic—friendly, approachable, and always ready to help. I recently returned an item after the first week of use, and they handled it effortlessly, no fees or fuss at all. Over time, I’ve picked up quite a few cycling essentials here: bike lights, saddle bags, socks, shorts, jerseys, caps, and more. Everything has been high quality, and the staff always make sure you leave satisfied. Their combination of excellent products and genuinely accommodating service makes shopping here a pleasure. I can confidently recommend this store to anyone in need of cycling gear or accessories”
“World class expertise and service fitting studio that also sells only those machines that customers want (or need). While coming in for a fitting to modify my 28 year old carbon fiber machine, the better investment involved buying a new Scott Addict. At no time did Barry, Clint, or Don attempt to sell or upsell this and they offered solutions at multiple different price points. Very straightforward, knowledgeable, trustworthy folks who solve every problem thrown their way and stand behind every purchase or service
If you are looking to deal with professionals who know the brands, products, and only sell quality products, then this is the place to go without hesitation. No disrespect to any other shop but just want to highlight that a perfect fitting machine far outweighs bragging rights / status machines that save 100 grams in weight”
