Knife sharpening service was very good. It is a beautiful thing to have sharp knives again. And they taught how to maintain the edges in the interim. The store has lovely, high quality items for the kitchen too.

I had a set of kitchen knives sharpened at Didricks (AKA Local Root) and they did a fabulous job. They don't do it while you wait, but the gleam of the polished metal and the strong sharp edge was worth the wait.
