“In retrospect, I cannot say enough good or celebratory things about this resort. Rarely in my life am I so impressed with the high level of customer service and satisfaction that the team at TOURISTS provides every single customer, all day long. From the manager, to the culinary team, to the front desk, the housekeeping staff, and of course Devin, the yoga instructor, were all so above par that I will be talking about my stay here for who knows how long!! There was a bit of a snafu with an overbooking and having to juggle our group of four around from one room to another, but ultimately the situation was expertly handled, with minimal disruption, and we were even afforded an upgrade and discount. The river kayak excursion the resort recommended was above and beyond my wildest dreams (review of that later!), and the salt water pool was a vacation all in itself. Thank you TOURISTS for helping to make my birthday SO special! Cheers!”

“Let me start by saying this is a great hotel. It's quaint. The breakfast goes above and beyond what you normally expect from a hotel breakfast display. The beds are comfortable and everything works. My wife, who reacts quite quickly to mold and mildew, needed to take an allergy pill each day that we were there. This is not uncommon given the age of the bungalows. I also mention that I think it's very unprofessional to charge an additional fee for breakfast and the pool when in fact most hotels include that in the price. I think this is just the way to lower the actual cost and in the end charge more.”

First and foremost the staff is beyond amazing - friendly, helpful, happy — they made the experience that much more lovely. (Truly everyone was delightful, but I have to mention that the GM Megan is truly extraordinary. We had a little mix up with rooms when we arrived, but she quickly jumped into action and resolved the matter and it made the stay perfect. Also Steven at the desk was a step above! I called before we arrived looking for things to do in town. He immediately suggested some awesome art and music venues in the town and the surrounding area.)
The property itself is just beautiful— modern and charming at the same time:
Everything looks brand new—the rooms are a good size, and beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. (On every floor there is a purified water station and a great coffee machine.)
The property is lovely, it’s right on the Williams Campus and it’s lush and green. A few minutes walk and you’re in a little town with a few restaurants, ice cream shop, and other cute little shops. It made for a lovely evening stroll.
There’s a truly excellent restaurant in the hotel- The Barn. (farm to table and everything tastes amazing. The trout tasted like it was caught that morning.)
Also within a one or two minute walk outside hotel there’s a cute coffee/bagel shop open during day. Great to grab something before you head out for the day, if you don’t want a larger breakfast at hotel restaurant.
We just learned that on the weekends there’s a farmers market across the street - which was a sweet little extra we didn’t anticipate.
At night there’s a lovely large fire pit outside the hotel, and chairs all around the hotel inside and outside to relax.
Truly a perfect weekend get away in every way.”

“Great place and enjoyable stay. The rooms are dated but are well maintained and kept clean. The owners live on site and are very hospitable. The motel is 10 minutes from the MASS MoCA campus, which made it a convenient place to stay for Solid Sound.

I'm looking forward to my next stay there.”

“I stayed a Bascom Lodge in a bunk the night before a hike up Greylock. I really enjoyed my experience. The lodge was well run with tasty food, engaging events, and beautiful nature/history. Monique was particularly inviting and accommodating.

The one suggestion I would have is to add a fan to the bunk room to help with white noise for sleeping!”

“My wife and I had a terrific experience at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Williamstown.

Staff was very accommodating, Room was extremely clean as would be expected.

We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool an hour and a half before closing time and there was plenty of towels.

Will use this location every time we travel to Williamstown.”

“I must say I was very surprised for sure.....impressed and pleased with the room and the staff...I had medication overnighted to me and why I was working they made sure my medication was put in my room waiting for me in the refrigerator since it requires that....the rooms are very clean and the bed..well I freaking slept tooo good and actually was a little late for work on Thursday because I snuggled right in....the rooms are a little small but I did get a single king and it was clean and comfy...it's very quiet and clean outside as well...there is a spot for a bobtail or 3 in front and food all within walking distance....or if you want to drive then my experience was there is some good eats in that town.....I will definitely stay there again....that's my opinion on this place but everyone may not agree...for me though and the price ..ya I'll stay there..”
