“Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.”
“This little post office is the absolute best. Sharon and Lawyer are knowledgeable, pleasant, helpful and incredible professionals. Readville is so lucky to have this resource.”
“Protect Dave at all costs! Today was my last day to bring my package to return an item to the post office [ i haven't been around] and i wasn't about to shove it into the box outside. He was already outside the building for a moment and he took the time to stop and answer my question. He wasn't rude or in a rush but the complete opposite. He doesn't know this but this is my first package i have ever sent out to return that wasnt Amazon and he took it and processed it for me to send out. This is above and beyond attitude. Thank you again Dave, you're a real one.”
“First time applying for a passport with my husband. Tony is the one who attended us and he was friendly and courteous, he walked us through the whole process and got us out of there in a timely fashion. Thank you for making the process an easy one!”
“This is my favorite Post Office I've been to in the whole country. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes in line, I'm often the only customer, the staff are always friendly, and there's plenty of parking nearby. That's everything I need.”
“Very reliable local USPS postal office. They are polite and knowledgeable about the products and shipping process. Parking can be hard sometimes, just park at the Walpole public parking and then walk.”
“Wish I could give 10 stars to the Roslindale Post office. I was putting together a retirement for my boss that was due at noon. I was waiting on 3 more envelopes that my colleagues had put in the mail the week before that I anticipated were most likely in the carriers bag out for delivery. At 10:30am I called the PO and April answered the phone. I offered to meet the carrier wherever he was to grab the envelope since my afternoon mail delivery would mean I could not finish putting the gift together. April went above and beyond and found the carrier and within 30 minutes the two envelopes were dropped in my box and she called to confirm they had been received. In 93° weather, I tried to run out to give the carrier a cold Gatorade, but he was already gone before I could get there. Both April and the mail carrier went out of their way to save the day so that we could complete the gift for my boss. A+++++++”

“So grateful for the Norfolk post office and staff! Jean is great and runs a tight, tidy ship. I mail packages frequently and am always well taken care of. In response to a previous review: the office closes for lunch because there's typically only one person on staff making that lunch break a necessity.”
“I drop packages here all the time. The staff is friendly and don’t seem to have issues with items shipping out in a timely manner. Our mail usually comes at a reasonable time too.”
“Blair was so helpful with the passport application for our daughter. We tried to do it at south Boston post office where it was an awful experience, Blair was lovely and helpful and we got it all done in a few minutes.”

“Arguably the best full service PO in Metro West. Can be a tad busy around noon and near close but Kelly and Wendy will take care of you. Lots of packing materials and friendly smiles that give you all the mailing options. Off peak times you are in and out with usually no wait.”
“I think the "mean lady" is gone because I've been to this location several times in the last few months, and they are wonderful! When the line gets long, they apologize for the wait and are very nice and helpful. I find this location a lot better than the E Walpole and Randolph locations where I used to go. The two current employees I always see are quick, knowledgeable, and kind.”

“I am waiting in line at the main Needham post office and the most helpful and positive mail representative is greeting and assisting customers. Generally mail representatives at the post office are unhappy but not Adam!! He is terrific and as luck would have it he helped me. Thank you Adam.”

“I had a good experience here just today dropping off a package with all the details and label already put on. There’s social distancing norms in place with little indicators on the floor and masks on policy. There was only one counter open at my time of visit around 4pm but, there wasn’t a big line so it was ok.Contrary to all the reviews I saw about this place before my visit, I was leaning towards a bad experience but, i didn’t have one. It was a standard drop off for my package and I was done within a few minutes, got the receipt and headed home.”
“The West Roxbury post office is one of my favorites, I make the drive from Jamaica Plain, it's worth it. Friendly staff, I never feel rushed and all the times I've been here there hasn't been much of a wait if any! They usually have 3 people at the desk at any given time, they have functioning pens at the counter (not all locations do). Parking is easy to find on the street and there is a parking lot behind the post office.”

“My mom sent a package for my son’s first birthday. The tracking showed it was delivered yesterday, but we never received it. I called the USPS Norwood branch today, and Justin answered the phone. He was extremely courteous and helpful, promising to look for the package and follow up with me. Within 15 minutes of my call, a USPS employee came to our mailbox and found the package! I was so impressed by their quick response. Thank you so much for your help — we have a very happy birthday boy now!”
