Book Stores
“Absolutely worth visiting! This is one of those bookstores you could spend hours exploring. Whoever is responsible for sourcing their inventory deserves major credit...they've curated an incredible collection, and the prices are very reasonable because they're focused on getting books into readers' hands rather than letting them sit on the shelves.
The building itself is full of history, and don't skip the short video about what books do at night, it was such a charming and unexpected treat. As an added bonus, there's a cute coffee shop right across the street, making it the perfect stop for a relaxing afternoon of browsing and reading.
If you love used bookstores, this is a must-visit. Highly recommend!”
“A real treat … surprisingly extensive and eclectic array of books. Lots of old classics I’d forgotten about mixed with the latest and best stuff. Don’t miss out on the history and travel sections in the wine bar / side room (‘Get Lit’).”
“Stopped into Barnes & Noble in Pittsfield, MA today to pick up a couple of books, and I’m always reminded just how good this store is.
It’s one of those places where you walk in looking for two books and somehow an hour disappears while you’re wandering the aisles. Great selection, welcoming atmosphere, and that constant feeling that there’s something interesting waiting around the next corner.
Honestly, bookstores like this are dangerous for my wallet and excellent for my soul. 📚”
