The store is tidy and aesthetically pleasing; the fish appear healthy; their tanks are clean and contain appropriate shelters, etc.; and they have a nifty set-up for their frags.Dre, the manager, was friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. I was particularly gratified to see how patient and careful he was when catching the firefish we decided to get.The store’s loyalty program is pretty decent, plus they carry a variety of LRS food blends that our fish enjoy. We’ll definitely stop by when we’re in the area again.”

I also appreciate their shipment packaged well. In addition, the staff have always been helpful and friendly to my dog, who's always curious to sniff around the store.”
“I'm a regular at Jabberwock and they're fantastic. There's never been a question they haven't been able to answer, and it's so much fun getting to talk about reptiles or arachnids with the staff. They special-ordered an amblypygid for me and made sure to reach out when it arrived, which felt so special. Small stores like Jabberwock are a rarity in a time of big box stores, and it's such a joy to come in.”

“5 stars for Polkadog!! It's been about a year since visiting Polkadog, after being frequent customers and moving away. We came back this past weekend to purchase a bulk order of treats to give as party favors and boy do we miss it. The variety of hand made treats and options on how to buy (a buffet of treats to build your own bag, 12oz bags of training treats, 5lb bulk bags, etc...) makes Polkadog one of a kind. The best place to spoil your pup!”

“I'm reviewing only for the grooming service. I had a really bad experience at PetSmart that left my Cavalier KC traumatized and in the ER; you can imagine I was pretty anxious in taking my baby back to a new place. Daniella is the only groomer there so she personally takes care of each dog from beginning to end. I explained all that had happened in the past and she was super understanding, texted and kept me updated throughout the service until the end plus my doggie looked so fluffy, cute and well groomed! I'm definitely going back to her! The price is also very reasonable so a plus on that as well! Thank you Daniella!”

“This is a fantastic doggy daycare that I would highly recommend to anyone!! Everyone I have come in contact here with has been wonderful. They are all so kind, dedicated, very dog-savvy and truly want what is best for your dog. As the owner of a tiny 6lb very shy & sometimes sassy rescue pup, they treated her like she was their own. It was so reassuring to drop off my little girl and hand her off to Brian and/or the “aunties” and she would willingly go with them and give them kisses. She does not typically act that way with many people. Given that my girl is so small, they were honest with me when she didn’t have the best days during the busy summer months. “The owner is very knowledgeable about his fish and takes excellent care of them. Has a great variety of freshwater and semi-tropicals, especially bettas. I'm super pleased with the corydoras and shrimp I got here.I'm sceptical of some of the other animals for sale (birds, rabbits) but I do not know what is adequate for them so I can't say if their quality is on par with the fish.”

“I could not say enough.From the second Buddy and I walked in , we both felt super comfortable and I felt as though my baby was in the best of hands at the pet spa. Theresa was so sweet and gave buddy some love and super yummy salmon treats and he warmed right up to her. Jean groomed buddy and he couldn’t smell better, his paws are nice and clean and his nails are trimmed perfectly. I get my pup's dog food here, treats, toys, bandanas, bathing stuff, etc. Lauren the owner is amazing and always so helpful! She always takes the time to help me find what I am looking for and recommend anything she thinks would be beneficial for my pup. She is very knowledgeable and truly cares about your animals care.
