Returned my call promptly with a very reasonable quote for the 100K maintenance work recommended for my Acura TLX (replace timing and serpentine belts, tensioner, spark plugs). Was able to fit me in on short notice and had all work completed by the end of the same day, as stated--and true to quote. No hidden or surprise charges. So, today, when my nose told me that something had crawled up into somewhere under my hood and died there, I went right to Wakefield Auto. Without any advance notice and with a generous spirit, John took my car in to find and resolve the problem. From every aspect, I couldn't be happier with this shop and would recommend them without hesitation!”

“Fred (the owner) is great. His prices are very competitive and he's always been really nice. As for the other reviewer, Fred may miss a couple of things however, he wouldn't miss putting on lug-nuts. A good example is that - if you know cars - the 2008 G35 cross beam (looks like a big piece of metal with batwings) is hard to find. Well, I was having him replace that on my G35 a while back. I found the exact part and gave it to him. A guy that sells scrap metal grabbed it somehow. He took a large piece of steel (that would not rust as opposed to the OEM part) and welded me a new better one. He's totally reasonable and working with him is always a pleasure. As opposed to some that would order an $80 part and charge you $170.. He's like.. here's the link on Amazon.. $80.. have it delivered to me. He's been repairing cars for over 20 years or more.. I shouldn't recommend as that could give him more business and it will take me longer to get my stuff fixed. But, I couldn't let the prior review go unanswered. Nobody's perfect but I can say for sure that this mechanic with decades of experience would not send a car out with no lug nuts AND.. if you tire had no lug nuts your car would be driving like some clown carnival car with the tires moving all around. Anyone would notice within even 40 feet. Fred's a great guy and does a fantastic job. I sent my daughters, GF, clients, associates, and friends in the area to Fred and they have all been equally impressed. I've gone through half a dozen repair places in the area -- I discovered Fred and have only used him to repair my cars (probably currently like 5 cars including my kids cars) ever since. BTW I also love VEO autobody in Lynn for the autobody stuff Fred doesn't do.”

“I sent my car to be fixed by Sullivan of pro collision Center, Saugus. And , I couldn't be happier. My accident was a minor one, but all the sides of my car had a scratch or a dent from previous accidents. Pro collision center made my car looking like brand new. I was so happy, that I was grateful that somebody hit my rear, because thanks to this accident , I had the opportunity and luck to have found Sullivan that fixed my entire car for an excellent deal. My car was in good hands and for now on, he will be the only one that I will trust my car. I highly recommend Pro collision Center.”

“6 stars if possible. I needed brakes and rotors front and back on my suv. Big shop in wakefield quoted $1150 said they could take it in 10 days. Called Bruhms, they said have the car here first thing in the morning, we open at 7. The job was completes by 4pm $675.”

“I see a lot of hate on here for Stella, the owner of this shop. I believe she and her mother are misunderstood and because of that they are getting negative reviews that aren't necessarily indicative of their service. I have been dealing with Stella and her mechanics for years now and have never once had an issue. I recently had to replace the engine on my 2009 Subaru Outback, I was charged a more than fair labor cost and Stella worked with me for a month to find the right engine and warrantied it for a year. Parts cost what they cost, labor is charged based on what the mechanic decides his time is worth, the bay is rented by the owner, that's how this business works and it would be beneficial to all to have a better understanding of cars and their subsequential costs.”
