“Crow Haven Corner is a wonderful store and psychic parlor. Beautiful gifts including candles, magic cords, tons of books, and cute jewelry. I have been seeing Lorelei (the owner) for around 7 or 8 years. I have always believed in psychic ability, however I also believe there are a lot of people faking it, and it can be hard to trust in a tourist town.

Without a doubt, Crow haven corner is the REAL deal!

Lorelei has told me accurate things (every time) Things she would never be able to guess and every experience has brought valuable insight. I’ve had fun, light-hearted readings and love spells as well as deep more serious readings- and spells for protection and health. She is warm and caring but doesn’t sugar coat things. My only disclaimer, as someone who has a lot of anxiety, is to make sure you REALLY want the answers, because she will tell you the truth, good or bad.

She will tell you in the kindest and most empathetic way, but still, it can be scary if you are a nervous person already.

In the past she’s given me info about my stepkids that turned out to be 100% true. Most recently, she talked about my cat before I even sat down to start the reading. She told me to keep him close because he wouldn’t be with us much longer. One week later, my precious baby unexpectedly had to be euthanized. My aunt also passed away 2 days before that reading and she came through. She knew all about the relationship between her and my mom, including that they hadn’t spoken in a few years.
She also does a health scan with incredible accuracy. She told me about stomach problems before I knew there was an issue. More recently explained something going on with my heart, and last week I was in the ER and now have a cardiology referral that wouldn’t have happened without her warning.

The insight she gives me, while difficult to hear at times, has been extremely valuable in preparing me and in making decisions that I was struggling with. All the staff at the store have been great- her son also does readings and I’ve had great conversations with all of them- it’s just a pleasure to be in their company. you can tell they enjoy what they do and I just can’t say enough good things about Loralei and her shop.”

One gotcha, parking is very difficult. It's best to walk there. There is validated parking from an adjacent garage though.”

“I've been going here for a while and Its been a very welcoming environment with a great community. The owner is understanding and polite, and he has a great selection of cards, miniatures, and games for good prices. I've always come in and been able to play whatever I want or buy whatever I want with little to no issue. Whenever I am there he's always polite to whom ever walks in and will answer all their questions to the best of his ability. For example last Saturday a boy and his dad came in asking about Warhammer 40K and he answered them and showed them a set that might work for what he wanted, but before they spent any money he recommended that he do research and come in the next day to watch some more experienced players. Overall it's a great experience and cannot recommend it enough.”

“Pretty much every type of art or craft supply that you could possibly need along with lots of other different kinds of knick knacks and many seasonal items to go along with it all while being as in excellent price range for all of there various products. The one only issue I have with the one Michaels store in Danvers by the Liberty tree Mall would have to be that they have 6 or 7 self-checkout automated register machines that are card only then just 2 registers with actual cashiers who are able to take cash or any other type of transaction like returns ect. on most weekends and especially any holiday season the line can be 40 people deep which can end up taking a rather long long time to check out. All in all I highly recommend Michael's for their extensive inventory of crafts and seasonal items along with a very helpful knowledgeable staff”

“I like this location a lot. I could spend all day in here thinking about what new projects I want to start (and maybe actually finish!). The employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and are always happy to help. Also, I think the rewards program is great! I've gotten so many great coupons and vouchers to pay for my endless need for crochet supplies. (Everyone who knits and/or crochets knows that it always takes more yarn than you think, even if you already got extra! ?)

Overall, it's really a great store, but I'd be remiss to not mention a few minor grievances I have. First and foremost: CROCHET HOOKS! Where did they go?? It seems that the hook isle hasn't been restocked for at least 5 months. I'm always losing my small-guage Susan Bates in-line aluminum hooks with rubber grip, and I constantly need to buy new ones. There aren't even any alternative brands for anywhere near a reasonable price! I need all sizes 4.0mm and below.

I am loyal to certain brands, as are many customers. And that brings me to my second grievance. Why are all the good brands of yarn being supplanted by a crappy low-quality brand called Loops N' Threads. I need Caron Simply Soft (a few skeins here and there on the shelf, but no variety and the quantity is always scarce!). The other brands I like are the Caron "pound of love", but this store does not carry enough color variety or enough skeins that are the same dye lot. That is also true about my other favorite: Lion Brand. There is less variety every time I go. No consistency. Another important crochet supply I can't find at this store are waterproof foam blocking boards that fit like puzzle pieces. Am I missing something?

Don't get me wrong - I still love this store! When I'm bored, or I am babysitting my 6-year old niece, I go here and ALWAYS find some cool project to do, book to read or game to play. They carry many unique products and I always find novelties, gizmos and gadgets. I was very happy to find all kinds of slime kits (because that's our favorite!),beads, paints, coloring books, model kits, cake decorating gadgets, origami paper, stationary, clay, colored pencils, *gel pens*, paint markers, storage containers, candles, holiday decorations, lights, CANDY ?, and so much cool stuff for kids (to get them to stop staring at screens all day!).

My only other comment, and it's controversial to say this, but here it goes:

I HATE PAPER BAGS. I cannot carry home pounds of yarn and other stuff in those useless bags. Oh, you want me to pay for a cloth bag? We'll, I certainly would if you had them in stock. Last time I was there my only option was to buy a $5 durable plastic bag. I shouldn't have to pay for bags, in my opinion. What if I had purchased a canvas, white yarn, drawing paper, or something fragile and I walked him in a light drizzle? I'll tell you from experience that I never make it out of the parking lot without my bag tearing and my purchases sometimes getting broken or ruined. What are you guys thinking?? Give your customers a darn plastic bag! Maybe I'll be able to USE it and even RE-USE it! It's so absurd that you refuse to provide what is a standard, super-reasonable, necessary expectation at ANY OTHER STORE. I usually bring my own bag, but my trips here aren't always planned, and on my unplanned trips always result in more purchases, so... yeah...

I need quality plastic shopping bags, <4.0mm Susan Bates crochet hooks, blocking boards, and more variety of quality yarn brands, like Caron, Lion Brand and most importantly, Caron Simply Soft. Then I'll give you 5 ? s.”
