92 Cook Rd, SheffieldI had the pleasure of getting my household pets groomed here, (great results, I was worried my grumpy babies would be a problem, and apparently they were great!) and through all the changes and daycare additions, one thing has remained the same: This place is run by people who really love and know their animals. I love the daycare option BowMeow has, because it helps dogs socialize, making them better able to handle a busy park, family gathering or other public/semi public environments. I also got to work here in my youth, and I can say for sure this is a pillar of Sheffield's community.

65 Silver St, SheffieldFantastic beer, the atmosphere was awesome, and the owner or one of the owners who was there was incredibly helpful with local tips and advice for hiking. Pretty much everyone in there was friendly and helpful, and the good beer, wifi, and board games were just bonuses to boot!

Race Brook Lodge
864 S Undermountain Rd, SheffieldFirst time guest. Had the most charming stay at Race Brook Lodge. I arrived in the evening and followed a path down to where I was staying: a sweet, charming, rustic cottage room. The bed was enormous and inviting, there was a nook off of the room with an additional sleeper. No tv, just the sounds of the evening outside. It was a little chilly and they had heaters ready for use. The bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep.
In the morning, I followed another path to the dining area where I was greeted by the staff, who were super-friendly and warm. Overnight guests were greeted by the staff like they were family (they seemed to be regular guests) and the breakfast was delicious. I took a quick dip in the pool and used the sauna, then went for a hike. It was the perfect getaway from my stress. Would come back here again 100%.
