“The staff at this post office are kind. Unlike Dartmouth on Faunce Corner lol. I do wish they had a direct line like other reviewers. It's ridiculous that USPS only puts a general number when our questions are obviously quick and for the local office, i.e. checking that the package is actually there for pickup.”
“I visited around 9:30 AM on September 29, and the gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally kind and demonstrated true professionalism. I came in with a somewhat complicated mailing issue, and thanks to his expertise, the problem was resolved clearly and efficiently. “Whoever was answering the front desk phones today (3/4) in the Swansea MA post office is an amazing human being! I accidentally put in the wrong address to ship two items and didn’t realize it until they were almost being delivered!
I called and not only was he extremely polite but he took down my information and helped me with the problem! One of the packages already arrived no problem! Thank you so much!
USPS has been under so much pressure and I’m sure they deal with rude phone calls and problems all day... but despite that this person still helped me solve a problem very important to me in such a kind manor and I am so thankful!

“Everyone at this branch is the nicest. Always smiling and asking how they help. Our regular Carrier, Kathy who does Purchase st. is always so pleasant. Knocks on the door if the box is too big and always follows up with certified or registered mail the next day. We get 5 star service here. Thank you everyone.”
“I don't know why all these bad reviews. I'm handicapped in a wheelchair and the staff here has always been very helpful. Always have a pen that I can use, also in the back there's 2 tables both of which have pens. Never had an issue getting a money order always have them. Great customer service at least with me.”

“I had an appointment to order a new passport because I lost mine. I tried my best to make sure I had all of my documents and I showed up about 10 minutes early. I figured I'd have to wait a few minutes but I didn't want to be late. The woman behind the counter took me right away. She even commented that I did a good job having everything I needed. I honestly didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went. Thanks to the person behind the counter for being the best!”
“I’ve never had any issues here. Granted sometimes I have to wait but it’s never been more than 10 minutes. The service has always been good too. I see there are a lot of complaints about how they’re rude. I find that odd. They’re not rude to me at all. I have seen very rude and demanding customers though. So maybe staff gets what they give and the people complaining need to chill and try to comprehend that life doesn’t revolve around them. Just a thought.
Only problem I could see at this place, and I could very well be wrong, is that I don’t think it’s handicapped accessible. I haven’t seen any ramps or lifts and a few times I’ve had to go in and buy stamps for a women with a walker.”
“After my horrendous experience at the New Bedford USPS--which left me vowing never to step foot in that branch again (which I've held to this day)--I started going (almost exclusively) to this Faunce Corner location. I actually went there to mail the catalogue that the NB branch refused to mail. That was years ago, but I do remember that the woman I interacted with was very kind, and I remember not just *thinking* there was a huge difference in attitude and service, but also *feeling* there was. I did get that package mailed, and it did cost more than the quote, but being met with an apologetic, empathetic, and understanding representative MADE A MEANINGFUL DIFFERENCE!Over the years, I've had nothing but good experiences at this location. I've always found the tellers to be friendly and professional. I also like that, because of the footprint/layout of this branch, it feels less claustrophobic when there is a line (vs. NB branch). When I'm in the area, this is my branch of choice and would recommend it without reservation!!”

“I just want to give the biggest shout out to Lou for all of his help, kindness, and patience he just gave me to mail my package overseas. He was very professional, friendly, and gave me advice that helped make the process smoother and more efficient on both our ends, all while being quite timely. I honestly cannot say how thankful I am, especially being from out of town, for the experience I just had and would recommend this post office to anyone needing postal service. Also, a thank you, if you ever read this, to the gentleman who offered his assistance in helping me to package up my box for shipping.
