“While I don't typically drop in here for casual bowling on the weekends, AMF Somerset Lanes holds a very special place for our family and community. Every year, we host a fundraiser here in honor of my late godfather, organized by his son, my cousin Nate. Year after year, the event turns out to be a massive success. It is always a fantastic time bringing together family and friends under one roof to remember someone who meant so much to us. A huge part of what makes the event run so smoothly is the incredible team working here. Every single staff member is amazing, attentive, and accommodating—they truly go above and beyond to support our fundraiser and make sure everyone has a great experience. If you are looking to host an event, a large gathering, or a memorial fundraiser, I can't recommend AMF Somerset Lanes enough. Huge thanks to Nate for putting it together each year, and to the staff for always taking such great care of us!”

“Mount Hope Farm is an absolutely stunning venue in a gorgeous location. Right on the water in Bristol, RI, the views of the water and the Mount Hope Bridge are spectacular. Our ceremony space was everything we ever dreamed, right in nature on the water. We were at MHF's Cove Cabin event space, and the cabin added such great charm and was a great place to retreat to when we needed a private moment. It was also a gorgeous tent to have our wedding in, and it looked amazing. We loved almost everything about having our wedding here - they partner with Russell Morin Catering, who were an amazing team to have behind our day. The food was excellent, the the coordination support they provided was beyond compare. MHF has really picked a winner for a partner there. The only downside I will say this venue has is the timing restrictions before your event. We were only allowed on site one hour before our ceremony at 5pm, meaning we really only had 30 minutes to take photos before guests arrived (many early birds in our guest pool). Because of this, we had to take family photos and wedding party photos elsewhere, when we really wanted all the photos at the venue. It's a shame they have this timing restriction and I hope they reconsider it for future events.”

“I went here for a concert and I enjoyed every moment. The arcade is fairly cheap, as long as you get unlimited play for everything, which is way cheaper than getting credits. then for the actual concert they tended to everything amazingly and overall a great venue spot.”

Vicky was the best she did incredible job with any needs I needed absolutely 100% will go back. My parents were over the moon. So great for functions of any kind.”

“Our Lady of Light Band Club is a great place to throw an event or party! Tony is amazing and does a wonderful job organizing fundraisers and venues. They have a bar that serves everything from beer and standard drinks to hard liquor. For events, they serve delicious buffet-style food and have a great setup for a DJ. It's highly recommended if you need to host a party!”

“I went here for one of my coworkers retirement parties on a Saturday night. It's a small little bar, it's a little weird at first when you come through the entrance. Coming through the entrance there's a door on the right that leads to a private party room that you could probably mistake for a coat closet if you don't open the door, as on the left there's a stairwell that goes downstairs to the actual bar. I ended up getting the Maybay breeze, which is basically Malibu rum and a bunch of other juice mixes. The scary part is you can't seem to taste the alcohol but after a few drinks you definitely know there's some there. The prices of drinks are reasonable! Only $6 for a 12 oz cup! What a steal! This definitely seems like a amazing place to spend the weekend and meet a few locals!”

“We recently scheduled a luncheon for a gathering after my father's funeral. Amanda in the business office was very kind, helpful and professional in helping us choose a menu and setting the room up to our liking. We went with the most basic buffet option which included salad, fried chicken, red sauce ziti, stuffed scrod, baked ham, roast potatoes. I knew the reputation of the Venus, so of course I was expecting quality food, but I can honestly say I was blown away by how amazingly delicious the food was. I ate two full plates. Not to mention everyone was complimenting the food as well. No joke, people were raving about the fish, which is not to detract from everything else, because it was all amazing. In the week since the event, every time I get hungry I crave that buffet. Here's the bottom line, if they served this exact buffet as a normal everyday menu offering, I'd eat there twice a week at least.”

“Jonathan was extremely friendly and polite, and walked us through how to get started at the arcade. He was super attentive and had awesome energy. My friends and I had a blast (we are in our late 20s). All this place needs is a good bartender, and some simple food like burgers/hot dogs/chicken nuggets. If they had a good advertising team, this place would be packed every Friday night! They need something to entice people to want to come, like raffles, giveaways, etc. Sooo much potential here!!!”

“I can’t complain great spot great location and super friendly, one thing I definitely will agree from past reviews here is the water quality & it’s dated back to 4yrs ago & water is still brown so idk what’s the deal with that but I went to Walmart to buy gallons of water for me & my partner to bathe due to the water being brown & it’s nasty to shower in. So yeah that’s why I gave it a 4 star review but other than the water this place is very nice clean & friendly staff”
