“Huge fan of the tuna sammy. Comes on a healthy cut of bread and the shredded lettuce is so good. I always swap out the provolone for another cheese and also ask for less mayo, but overall it is really good. It's pricey but #Boston and every single sammy in this town is now at least $15 minimum. My husband really loves their Italian as well.

Great addition to the hood and the owners are friendly. Parking is a little tricky but if you are going to take literally 10-15 mins the Target Parking Lot has never failed me.”

“If you’re going to make the fatal error of grocery shopping while hungry, Reliable Market is the place to do it. The boundless Asian grocer also has a kitchen in the back that sells hot plates of Korean classics for dine-in or take-out.

For decades, the market has been the Union Square neighborhood's surefire spot for pan-Asian grocery needs, from curry pastes to obscure vinegars to a variety of seaweeds. Refrigerators in the back are bursting with a lengthy lineup of fermented vegetables, nestled against marinating meat and fish. Fresh seafood is also available from a pickup counter.

The craft beer and Asian liquor section expanded over the years to meet the neighborhood's influx of graduate-school residents, now offering an impressive spread of local brews and ciders as well as soju, sake, and makgeolli.

The hot kitchen emerged as an answer to the area's dearth of quality Korean eateries. From Wednesday to Sunday, visitors can order from a broad selection of East Asian offerings, including salmon teriyaki, tonkotsu ramen, and pad Thai. However, the menu excels in its Korean fare, from a hot and spicy kimchi jjigae, to sweet bulgogi and a sizzling bibimbap, all accompanied by white rice and banchan (a term for small sides such as kimchi). Take-out is available for those too rushed to cozy up at one of the checker-topped tables squeezed between the beer fridge and the window. If there's any room left, grab one of the fresh pork buns steaming by the cash register.”

“Adding this place as one of my go to when visiting MA. Visiting from Seattle, the price and selection is impressive. Managed to find Hakata 10 & 12 to complete the Hakata flight sample (10/12/16/18) to eventually try with a couple of my buddies. Will be back!”

“Since moving to the area six months ago, I have been in search of a local craft beer supplier. The thing I appreciate about Canton is that they have a wide selection, but more importantly, they keep their “high demand” items cold. I haven’t had an oxidized beer yet! Thank you for having such a warm, kind demeanour, even if sometimes the clientele can be difficult.”

“I love this place. Urban and polite. Ask a question and you'll receive an informed and insightful response. The more you know the more they know, but they know more than you!”

“A local wine, beer, and spirits shop with a great selection and good prices (I especially enjoy the rich and always up-to-date beer selection, which includes international quintessentials and hyper-local fare!). Always knowledgeable and friendly, making every visit a high point in your day :) Be well!”

“Love this store. Great stuff. I’d like to compliment Todd at the Assembly Row store. He was professional, kind, helpful, and genuinely funny. He helped me find great items (including a few I didn’t plan on buying, but I’m so glad I did) and even assisted us out to the car. His customer service was outstanding! We will be back soon!”

“Well i live close by i think it is a good liquor store btw alot of the comments from 4-5-10 yrs ago are the old owners so I noticed the rates are similar to most other liquor stores in area it is small so they might not have... But I walk and I think it is a decent option especially during the week when they stay open till 10 and alot of other close at 9 so for its size and walk ability and bus and train routes I give it 5”

“Excellent customer service. Great prices, andbif you love eggnog like me they have a 1 liter bottle for $11.99 unfortunately due to a major waterpipe break the owner now has to throw all that stocked liquor away and to fix $200,000 to get back on top. I feel the city of Somerville should help this family man owner some $$$ to rebuild. Now he loses out on making $ thanks to FIFA who I noticed brought more customers in. Now he is at a loss. I hope I get to come back im to buy my D'assarno”

“Since this place does not have a clear marked sign, I feel compelled to make sure people know about it. We stay in Somerville at the Row Hotel at assembly row every year for the Christmas holiday.

So I was about to order alcohol on DoorDash to take to a Christmas party when we stumbled on this place while doing some last minute Christmas shopping. I am beyond happy. This place is two years old and what a gem! The guys who work there are super super nice, friendly and welcoming. Their selection of alcohol is outstanding, from every day drinking to premium choices. We got a great bottle of 12-year single malt and non-alcoholic Peroni (I was happily surprised to find). We are prepared for Christmas Eve.

Whether you live locally or here on vacation you no longer have to pay 'hotel' prices for premium libations, stop in here. Across from Saks Fifth and Nextdoor to CVS. You'll thank me later...

Pro tip: Great choice of minis/nips to pop in your pocketbook when you're traveling through airports during the holiday season.”

“Pretty good amount of Variety, if all liquor stores don't have what you need... this place will have it hands down. Might as well make this your first stop.”

“A little over prices and the place could use a little clean up and air freshener. But they had a why variety of wine, liquor, and beer, and its at a great location in Summerville. Owen is also cool and welcoming. I would have given ya 5 stars, but ya can light up some incents lol.”

“I needed whiskey bottle urgently to send a gift to someone who hosted us. The Tennessee bottles were delivered carefully and earlier than expected. Their shipping is also very reasonable. Placing order was very simple at this store and I will be getting alcohol delivered from them in future as well.”

“A small store packed with a variety of options for any occasion. However, my favorite thing about this place is how welcoming the staff are. Since I've moved to Somerville I've found myself going to Woodys for all my purchases. I mean, what store gives their customers valentine day cars?? So sweet.”
