“In town on G-Ma duty and needed to stock up on Mimosa essentials.

David (BC Alum), the local libation expert, greeted us with a warm welcome and couldn’t have been more engaging. He answered all our questions—and even pointed us to some favorite local spots to eat.

We had time to browse without feeling rushed and were treated like longtime regulars.

The customer service was top-tier: friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Prices were surprisingly reasonable, especially for the area.

Right in the heart of the Harvard neighborhood, Dana Hill Liquors is easy to spot thanks to its eye-catching vintage neon sign.”

“Formaggio Kitchen is the food equivalent of a great book store. If you breeze through, you'll see some things that catch your attention, and probably end up buying something on a whim that you'll enjoy. But if you stop to take the time to browse, and really look at what's on the shelves, you can lose yourself for an amazing amount of time (considering they have all of three aisles) ... and realize you *need* to try just about everything they carry. Plus they have a great coffee/bakery counter. Come here, get a coffee, and get lost in the stacks of (admittedly pricey) food that you never knew you needed (and now can't live without.)”

“Great selection! Weird workers.

Been here plenty of times and I love the selection and prices. However, the workers never say a word, stare, and follow me around the store. Weird…”

“My son goes here for a quick snack break after school. Since this convenience store is in a place where there aren’t too many shops this place is handy, and I believe it has a reasonable price. Everything is sorted out neatly and I like it very much!!!”

“One of the best places in Cambridge to find what you are looking for. Knowledgable staff, and if they do not have what you are looking for, have suitable replacements and willingness to help you find it.”

“Every time we come in, we are greeted with a smile. The best and only people I'd want to give my money too. Like no other I will continue to come to them. The store is always clean and well stocked with a nice selection.”

“Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect (> $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.”

“Domenic is one of the nicest, friendliest , sweetest people I have ever met in any industry. I was having a very difficult weekend, and he welcomed me with open arms and such welcoming sincerity. We need more people like this out there ?”

“I love this grocery store. It is so unique. They have cafeteria style hot and cold food and hot breakfast on weekdays. I really liked the fried plantains. They have a lot of ready to eat food. I have liked their grilled shrimp, corned beef, and turkey sandwich a lot. Their produce is also really fresh. This place is really convenient for when you’re getting on the Harvard square MBTA stop”

“Although I don't drink much any longer, the most recent return to buy a bottle of wine for a dinner party reminded me how fair priced this place is. Short of a trip to NH, this is one of the best places to get your drinks.”

“Good selection of drinks and local school merchandise. This is a very average liquor store that happens to be one of the only ones in the Harvard Square area that is open semi-late.”

“Sav-Mor Spirits has multiple locations within a 10 mile radius from my house, and while I haven't been to their Malden location, I frequent their Medford store often. I must have been to this particular location hundreds of times over the last 10 years I've lived in the area. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly, expertly knowledgeable about what they have in stock, and kick in pennies when you're out of change. Really solid local business and fantastic liquor store!”

The store is always clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The staff is super friendly and helpful, always ready with great recommendations. Prices are fair, and they often have good deals on top brands. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink or stocking up for an event, this place has it all. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!”
