“Just moved to the area with my girlfriend and decided to pop into Pemberton Farms for a bite. As we were browsing the sandwich menu, the owner Greg promised he could make us two great sandwiches, and we were not disappointed. The corned beef on my reuben was juicy and flavorful and the bread was toasted just right. My girlfriend really enjoyed her pesto chicken sandwich. We will be returning again soon.”

“Martin brothers is a small liquor store that boats an impressive selection of classic spirits. It's not somewhere you go to hang out but the prices are better than average and definitely better than Inman Wine and Spirits down the street”

“Came in during COVID-19 quarantine to get some hard cider, I will be back. Met Jim, who is a great guy! 10.99 for 6 pack of Angry orchard. We spoke about how this was his father's store, and how being in the alcohol business is pretty nice in the age of store closures for non-essential businesses. Cheers!”

“I can't thank Formaggio Kitchen enough! I was looking for a French picnic experience as a gift to send to friends when I found Formaggio Kitchen online. I settled on the gift products and crossed my fingers. This gift was described by our friends as "exceptional in every way". That was the reaction I was hoping for! I highly recommend Formaggio Kitchen!!!”

“Great wine store close to Harvard. Gentleman I dealt with at the store was super friendly and helpful and recommended to me a great bottle of white wine. Very good prices too in a beautiful store.”

“This is a good spot if you need something quickly. They have a decent selection including local beers from lamplighter. The prices are a little high but they are consistent with the neighborhood.”

“Love love love this spot in Harvard Square the vibe the food and the amazing selection of all different kinds of things from wine to trinkets to a great roast beef sandwich and other menu items confusing that you have to pay at the register but not where you get the food thats why it wasn't a 5 star review”

“I almost exclusively go to City Liquor for beer. Their selection is amazing (albeit very IPA-heavy), and you can't beat their 'make your own six pack' deal, which basically comes out to one free beer whenever you buy 5. I'm not sure for wine and liquor, but if you're a beer enthusiast, I would highly recommend checking out City.”

“This evening, I ordered from your establishment through Drizly. The driver Claudel L. came with the wrong order. And tried to make me just take it. I called SavMor Cambridge and told them that I had the driver with me and that I had the wrong order. The gentleman at Sav Mor said that they would fix it and have the driver return with the correct order. But when the driver returned to Sav Mor, he refused to redeliver.Drizzly immediately gave me another delivery person (Ali D.), but it was at the last minute. Down to the wire of closing. That same helpful Sav Mor employee (the only one I spoke to throughout the evening and who was new) made sure that the order was correct and in the hands of that second delivery person, who arrived literally at the last second he could, right as they closed this evening at 10pm.Thank you Sav Mor Cambridge, Drizly, and 2nd Driver Ali D.!And 1st Driver Claudel L.: Zero thanks”

“Since I moved to the neighborhood last year, Norton's has been my go-to spot for all my alcohol needs. They've got a respectable craft beer selection, especially for a store of their size; I've been able to find pretty niche stuff from the west coast that I don't see in most other places. The owners are super friendly and seem to get along with regular customers. And they do tastings with local wine sellers on Saturdays (maybe Fridays too) which is great for expanding your horizons and supporting locals! Some of the beers are a little pricier than I would expect (> $13 for a 4-pack from Night Shift) but generally you can get 6-packs of classics like Fat Tire and 90-minute for under $12. Overall, prices are very reasonable, especially given that they have a super convenient location right on Mass Ave and their own private parking lot in a fairly dense business area.”

“Pretty big store, I went looking for beers so only concentrated on that. Big selection from a lot of local places and imported beers as well. Easy to get to spot with friendly staff.”

“You should know about wines if you go to this store. I'm not a big wine person but I was buying some for dinner with friends. I asked about Bourbon Barrel, aged Zinfandel, and the short woman with glasses, and two buns said we don't carry that. I had to interrupt her conversation with the other clerk to ask the question. I then had to ask where the Zinfandels were. She pointed them out and went back to her conversation... I would have loved for someone to ask me what I was looking for and help me find it. But, maybe the clerks are just there to take money and aren't knowledgeable about wine.”

“It's just one block away from my house. Nice place to get a couple of beers or bottles and some snacks on my way home. The staff are always nice and helpful. It actually looks like the store runs by a local family that's why I always try to shop here for my liquors.”

“Nice little shop that had a good selection but extremely overpriced for certain items. Perhaps because it's in the city. Also you must have ID for everyone in group if you purchase alcohol so make sure you have your license!”

“Good selection of drinks and local school merchandise. This is a very average liquor store that happens to be one of the only ones in the Harvard Square area that is open semi-late.”
