“What you expect from New England's premier gas station and convenience store. Large, modern, clean, with a little cafe serving burgers and pizza. Allegedly open 24 hours but it definitely is closed at night sometimes. Can't blame them. Who wants to work at night in this city. Gas prices are always among the lowest in the area. And their gas pumps usually are all working unlike some gas stations where half of the pumps don't work all the time”

“First time homeowner and my first time living in an oil-heated historic home — so I’m learning. I’m writing this the day of my first delivery, which is a Monday. I thought it would be important to mention the customer service experience first.
I called on Friday (3 days ago) to schedule my first order to fill the tank. I explained that I was unfamiliar with the process and was a first time homeowner. The person I spoke to on the phone was very professional and assisted me with a genuine tone of care and kindness. I didn’t detect a whiff of judgement, which was appreciated. She helped me find my oil tank’s capacity, estimate the volume needed, and project the estimated top-up cost. She gets 5 stars from me — although, I didn’t catch her name (sorry!)
I called in the day of the delivery to confirm the time — its hard for them to know when they’ll get to your house along their route for that day, but they were able to let me know my place along the route and that the delivery would happen in the afternoon. I think her name was Pauline. Pauline called back 30 minutes before Chad was due to arrive so I could be ready to show him the two oil tanks I have. Pauline gets 5 stars.
Chad was on-time, very polite, and definitely seemed to know what he was doing. He made sure to differentiate from my tenant’s tank and my tank, inspected the tanks for leaks and other signs of damage or improper installment, then proceeded immediately with the fill-up. Not a drop of oil was spilled. He put a copy of the bill in my mailbox so I could stay out of the cold and then he was on his way to his next stop. Chad also gets 5 stars.

“My visit to this store was somewhat short because I went to send a Money Gram, I think thats what it was, I didn't do any shopping but this is my market of choice. I have been going to STOP& SHOP for as long as I can remember, while I noticed that they were a little high priced after I thought about it WHO ISN'T, EVERY MARKET IS RIGHT UP THERE NOW BUT I DID NOTICE THAT STOP AND SHOP SUPERMARKET DOES PUT OUT A WEEKLY FLYER AND THEY ARE TREMENDOUS SAVINGS, and buy one and get one free sometimes buy 1 and get 2 free . This week I spent approximately $189.72 a little higher than normally but I bought some buy 2 get 2 free on the meat's and I got it just as they were bringing them sale meats in the back to be repriced for the next sale and the pkgs will be cheaper and I will probably get them next week.The store alone was extremely clean as I was going by the deli a worker was taking the meat slicer apart for cleaning another one was cleaning the glass showcase and it was the same thing throughout the whole store. They had a lot of specials and sales on this week,you could tell the night before that someone had been in there and buffed the floor because you could see the buffing marks where they had hit walls on the corner 's the bathroom had someone going in to clean the bathrooms and I jumped in before she got to the mens room, I would give this store along with the other STOP AND SHOP I GO TO A 10 IF I COULD BUT THEY STOP AT 5. I KNOW THAT THERE IS A LOT OF STOP AND SHOP SUPERMARKETS in and around the area but there's only 2 that I go to and they are both clean and I know they have the same sales. The people who work at the 2 supermarkets for STOP and SHOP must go to a consumer friendship training program before hiring because I have never been in to a store like the 2 stop and shops that I use and have never had a problem with anything and if you stop someone and ask them a question they give you the answers and if they don't have the answers they will find out what ever your questions are and if they can't answer they will find someone who does . I have never left the stores unsatisfied or upset about an issue with an employee or anyone it's like they pump in some Valium or KLONOPIN and it gets everybody calm and relaxed. Thank You Stop and Shop I'm so glad you are here. They should have a training session for all the other markets to follow the protocol of Supermarket Life.”

Owner told me not to bother with the coolers and loaned me a large cooler that they use for parties at no charge. Even with out of state plates, just asked for a phone number and to bring it back within a week. Awesome assistance! And the wine is good too!”
