This is an underrated place where you can find reasonable storage rates. Some other local storage facilities have monopolized the area and consistently go up in price asking it unaffordable. U-Store-It has plenty of storage. It is conveniently located by the The Home Depot and behind Big Y Supermarket. This facility is accessible 24 hrs a day. Police patrols the storage place often and the staff frequent the area multiple times a day. Their office is accross the street and its staff is friendly and accommodating. Stop by and see the boys at U-Store-It today!

“Just moved my stuff in, so this review is incomplete, but so far the experience has been positive. I had a question and called, but no one was there, so I filled out a form online and got a callback within the hour. (This is a very different experience than ones I've had with other local self-storage companies. Cough, cough, pioneer valley self storage, cough cough.) Very polite and helpful. Move-in went smoothly. You get a gate-access code to the facility, and then it's a short drive to your storage area. My one complaint is that if you're moving in at night, the lighting isn't great. They have some lights, but they are unevenly spaced and don't fully light all of the units. So if that's your situation, then it might be useful to bring a flashlight. But otherwise, everything has gone very smoothly. Also, the price is quite a bit lower than many of the other self-storage facilities in the area.”

“After having multiple problems and poor interactions with the Springfield/Union Street office, I moved to using this and the Boston road office. Both are 100% better experiences than the poor quality management and staff at the Springfield/Union Street office. Transactions are consistently smooth and friendly. Staff has actually bathed, sober, customer focused, and extremely professional. Equipment is clean, organized, and functional. Most importantly - NO drama, just good service. I would highly recommend this location (Birnie Ave). Someone should send the Union street to this location for training.”

The location was convenient and once the potholes were filled, it was easy to get in and out of. The one challenge I had was when I went to the facility and found all the numbers removed from the units due to painting or siding. I did locate my unit successfully, nonetheless.”

“I had a 2008 BMW 335i shipped from Orlando to Chicopee MA and it came in on time and I paid less than I would have if went through a broker. My car was clean and ready to go when I got it, so I even gave the driver a tip. I will be shipping them again!”
