I placed a pickup order, but my boyfriend and I decided to dine in instead. When I asked if that was okay, the staff member mentioned that no one else was there and that it wouldn’t be a problem, so we chose a booth to the left.
The food itself was great and I genuinely enjoyed it, but unfortunately the experience with service took away from it. After we finished eating, I tried to be considerate by cleaning up and bringing our trash to the front in the takeout bag instead of leaving everything at the table. When I handed it to her, she abruptly threw her phone down, came around the corner, and snatched the bag out of my hand while walking away and mouthing things under her breath.
The interaction felt very uncomfortable and, as a woman of color, it doesn’t sit right. I’m not one too jump to conclusions, but the tone and behavior felt off-putting and disappointing.
I would come back for the food, but the attitude and customer service would make me hesitant to recommend this place to others.
