Dr. Wu was able to get her all caught up on vaccines and get bloodwork done. She allowed her to stay with my husband, (her chosen person,) so that she felt safe. Something a lot of vets have gotten away from is allowing the pets to stay with their people, I absolutely love that they understand it is better for all involved to let them feel safe.”

The West Concord Animal Clinic team is so kind and welcoming to Totoro and us. They have been compassionate and accommodating, particularly Ethen and Shaunna. “Dr. C, Dr. Rabaut, Dr. Brady, and Dr. Pocher have been an exceptional support system for Rascal since we brought him home as a puppy. They’ve been there every step of the way, providing guidance and care. They’ve handled all his medical needs, from neutering and vaccinations to removing a growth. As new dog owners, we’ve had numerous questions, and they’ve always been more than willing to help. Their front desk staff is incredibly kind and helpful, even amidst the daily influx of questions and calls. A special thank you to Brandon from the front desk! Their prices are also quite reasonable, but as pet owners, I highly recommend getting an insurance plan for emergencies.”

“Dr. Shope and technician specialist Jenn took amazing care of my dog Ted. Ted has several conditions that increase his anesthetic risk and is also very anxious at the vet. They came up with a plan that took all of his conditions and his temperament into account and they were so patient with him (and me as a nervous owner). It was truly a fear free experience and Ted did great. I can't thank them enough for their wonderful care.”
“We've been going to the Cat's Hospital for the last 3 years with our lovely cat. Very soon we'll be moving to another area of Mass and we seriously considered commuting 45+ minutes just to stay with them (we won't because our cat would be burdened by the long commute). Dr Cosimini and the rest of the staff are unbelievabley nice, friendly and warm, professional and caring. Our cat feels like home there and we're positive that if she knew we're moving she would be against it :)

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience at Slade. Im from NY and drive all the way out to them for reproductive services for my dogs and wouldn’t have it any other way. In the time leading up to my visit, both their wonderful tech, Jessy, and Dr. Fiamengo answer countless questions for me via phone and email with care and detail. I recently went to them for a TCI on my female and it was the first time I used this method for breeding so of course I was nervous. But once I arrived, my nerves were put to ease. They were very attentive, kind and paid attention to every important detail needed for a seamless experience. Dr. Fiamengo and her assistant, Nicole, allowed me to come into the room for the procedure and talked me through the process as she was performing the procedure on my dog. This allowed me to feel at ease and help my dog stay calm and as happy as possible. Following the visit, I received a very detailed follow up email with all information on next steps including when to schedule important visits and aftercare.
All of this to say, if you are looking for a vet that truly cares and is extremely educated in what they're doing.. Slade is the place to go!”

They have been so compassionate and helpful throughout this whole process. They've taken such good care of our boy, and also been so, so kind to us while we've been on the emotional roller coaster that is dealing with a sick pet. Dr. Langer unfortunately had to give us some bad news, but she was so gracious, sympathetic, and patient while answering all of our questions and making sure we understood all of the information and next steps. “Just took my 5 year old Shih Tzu for the first time. Everyone from front desk, the tech and the Vet were all so kind and took time to answer any of my questions. I didn't feel rushed and I felt comfortable and understood the information provided.
My dog was in typical Shih tzu mode. She had a lot to say and the vet sat on the floor just trying to make friends.”
“The owner, Dr Tim Foster was very cutting edge when he opened his practice, decades ago. That, combined with all his years of added experience puts him above almost all other practices. His associate, Dr Irene Papamitrou, is kind and gentle with our pets and has been at the practice for many years, so she is also quite experienced. The techs and front desk staff are also competent and experienced, so this longevity is great and means everyone at the entire practice really knows your pets and you. I find their practice is typically better than some practices when it comes to getting an appointment, or needing to talk to a vet to get medical information. Unfortunately, the norm today is that you are pretty much on your own after hours to go to an urgent or emergency facility, and that also the case here. They are engaged and support their local community. The cost of services is fairly compatible with other practices, and they do offer a senior citizens discount .”
