“We ran out of take out containers after Christmas dinner, so we stopped here and got some "tupperware".You can't beat their selection of sizes and types for only $1.25 (well....it was better when it used to be $1, but times change and inflation has been affecting us all).The store was well organized and I found what I needed quickly.”

“There is a good selection of clothing,pet supplies, cleaning supplies and equipment and also non perishable foods.Prices are very good. Much cheaper than other stores selling the same merchandise. They also have pool supplies like Chlorine and pool shock in the summer and they have other pool accessories like pool screens for bugs. They have these things only in the spring and summer.”
“Very friendly and helpful people was going to a store. I normally don't go to. I had never been to before they're very helpful. Find me the items I was looking for out of the way to make other suggestions when I couldn't find the things I was looking for I didn't act exasperated or rushed or anything, if I'm in that area again, I will definitely go to the store”

“I love this plaza, I have been to Ocean state job lot and Family dollar. Years back there was a Salvation Army store there that my wife and I would shop, but that is no longer there.”
“There isn't anything special about this store really. But whenever I need to go to a convenience store, this one doesn't disappoint. It has always had what I need when I need it. The bread is always fresh, and I believe it is local too. It also carries beer and wine. There are two reasons it didn't get five stars, I would like to see more of a selection of chips, and I know this is an impossibility because of space, but the wine selection could be bigger. The staff has always been friendly here, and will help you with anything you need to find. One more thing, your phone may not get any service inside the building, so don't walk in talking on the phone, because your call may get dropped.”
“I have been visiting Job Lot for years! Besides having lower than avg prices for MANYBthings in the store, there are numerous other advantages for shopping there. Allow me to.mention some of them:
1. Crazy deals. They work like this: you buy a "crazy deal item", & spend at least $10. Then, you get a gift cardcequal to what you just spent, which becomes usable the following day. They occasionally have all kinds of crazy deal specials making that aspect alone worth the trip.
2. Unusual merchandise, including food items. I have OFTEN found very tasty chips, snacks, energy drinks (etc), that I decided to take a chance on - only to end up.hoing back & buying (often much) more of the same
3. A helpful, quite personable staff- quite unlike any help one typically may get at a large grocery store, where it's quite clear the workers are overloaded & are annoyed at assistance demands.
4. The cheapest place ANYWHERE to buy nuts! How about $3.99/lb of walnuts, or $9.99 for a Qt of pure maple syrup? Need I go on? The cycle of deals just make regular visits there a must!!”
“We were in Aquidneck Island (which many people call Newport Island) and we stopped at this Dollar General to check out some of their inexpensive draperies for our beach cottage. I was surprised to see the large selection of standard decorative draperies and darkening curtains. I usually don't think of a dollar store for these, but I was glad that I had a chance to check them out. They had a good selection of sizes, colors and features. So, folks, if you are looking for inexpensive draperies, think about dollar stores like Dollar General to check their options and see how they compare to higher end, more expensive stores...if all you need is something basic, this might do the trick.”
“Stopped by this Dollar Tree on the way back from Colt State Park . First time at this Dollar Tree . Of course only went in to take a look (didn't really need anything) . Been to many Dollar Tree stores, some have more items than some of the other ones , or they have a few different items that others don't have yet. That being said, we somehow managed to spend almost $30. We found things that we can put to use in some way. ???”
“If you really want to save money on your food this is the place to go. Many people say stay away because items are outdated, this is deceiving. The dating is past the sell by date buot the use by date. They also have a 200% money back guaranty if the item is bad. The foods are good and the prices are better. The owner is a great guy, very friendly and helpful. Many specials and different items always. The new store is nice and roomy and easy to get around. Go to Family Foods first then the larger main food stores for what you can't get there, your savings will show without having to cut coupons. Since my review was last posted and due to a certain incident happening I find it necessary to add to this review. Yes there there was an incident involving the owner Mike St Pierre at the Stae Capital, however he did publicly apologize for his actions as he can get rambunctious and excitablea at times”
“Solid DG. The Warren store is a far cry from the disgusting cesspools down south. The store is well stocked, and clean. The employees are friendly, unlike what ive experienced in Florida and Georgia.”
“I purchased a large quantity of two items on Wednesday. The cashier said I should look at Dollar Tree online to see if I could order and have it shipped to my home. Unfortunately one particular item was not available on line so I went back to the same store the next day and sought out that same person and explained the item was not available online. She stopped what she was doing and brought out from the back the item I was looking for and I purchased it. That’s the kind of customer service I like. And I noticed the store is much neater lately. I’ve spent much time and cash there lately and plan to spend more!”
“This Family Dollar in a strip mall in Warren, RI is located next to an Ocean State Job Lot. It's interesting that both stores have a loyal following since they are direct competitors in many categories. I stopped her to grab some canned goods for a recipe I was making and their prices and selection was good. Pleasant checkout experience as well. The parking lot is huge, so no issues trying to find a place to park.”
“Not the most organized or stocked family dollar I've been in, but the young man at the register was very friendly and helpful. It's certainly worth taking a look and picking up a few things. Prices were great on the items I bought. There is plenty of parking but the store is pretty busy.”
“Okay so here's a big difference two family Dollar stores on North Main Street one is disgusting one is great so I drove up the road and went to the Family Dollar in the Shaw's Plaza what a difference from the one down at the bottom of North Main Street people there were great store was immaculate I can't tell you I will only shop at this Family Dollar from now on”
