“One of my favorite shops we’ve been to . Gorgeous things here ! I got 2 lovely roll on perfumes which smell amazing. Also Elliot oh my gosh fantastic!!!! Super helpful , very amazing to talk to and had fabulous suggestions. Elliot you definitely made this an amazing experience for us so thank you so much .”
“What a great book store! We had so much fun browsing the entire selection, between books, cards, and stickers, we couldn't leave empty handed. Nice touch with the tarot card dispenser. Friendly, knowledgeable staff added to the welcoming atmosphere.”
“Great and informed staff.
Especialky thankful because in-person was a better choice than online given my needs.
I am part of a program called Book Buddies that provides books for 3rd graders who might not otherwise have a library of personal books at home. The goal is to foster a love of reading by providing books our students ask for.
I was matched to a young woman. Who never tells me what books she wants, but with the help of the knowledgeable staff, we were able to identify a couple of books that would be both at her reading and interest level and one a bit more challenging to encourage her to read over the pending break.”

“We love this store and the staff! It’s a must stop when we travel to Salem! This year I had lost an important bracelet, I went to this store 30 mins later and found it sitting in my pocket! I truly believe this store is good luck and so peaceful! Highly recommend!”
“I ordered some notecards and they are just perfect. The glittered touches are perfect. Only disappointment was not with the product but with the lack of communication regarding the confirmation and shipping of purchase.”
“Great local Book Store. Cashier was friendly, an it had a nice local vibe. Pizza Girl ruined the ability to eat Pizza and shop for books at the same time though. Don't be like Pizza Girl!”
“It's a compact format Barnes that's pretty much no-nonsense - feels quite like the Amazon bookstore it replaced, but a little more interested in books. Funny how the OG bookstore can feel kinda indie in the wake of such things ? Pair it up with a local used bookstore and you can stay Bezos-free! (Try The Book Oasis in Stoneham!)They can order you any book you might need for no extra cost and get it within a day or two. The staff are always helpful when I'm asking for obscure books!”
“This shop is a hidden gem. A cozy little book shop tucked away in Beverly Farms, it has a great selection of books for all interests (and a great kids book room too) and the owner, Hannah, and her staff are all super knowledgeable and have great recommendations. Love this place!”

“Michael was great and went above and beyond when the 1 thing we needed wasn't available.66$ for a simple hooddie and 5$ for a chapstick are just silly so that's why I only gave it a 4 star.”

“The staff inside was very nice. There isnt a lot of room to back into the docks but it isnt too bad. I sat for a few hours to get loaded but overall its alright.”
“If you want a place to find any album ever made, there is no such place. Welfare Records is about the closest thing you will find to just that. Every record ever pressed. Knowledgeable staff, honest owner, and an overall great experience.”
