“Went to see Patrick on the recommendation of a co-worker after another shop broke off some bolts and therefore said was unable to replace my AC compressor and condenser on my Tacoma. Patrick said to leave the truck with him for a day so he could assess the extent of the damage the other shop did. Within 2 hours he called saying he confirmed the compressor needed replacement but the condenser was OK. He also gave me a VERY reasonable estimate for repairs and said he could finish it that day. WOW!!! Everything is back up and running for just over 1/2 of what the other shop was going to charge. I've found my new go-to mechanic!!! Thanks Patrick.”

“I had a nail in my tire and came into the Saugus, MA location today without an appointment. The gentleman that helped me, Manny, was very friendly and helpful. He informed me the tire couldn’t be repaired due to location of the nail so I needed a replacement. Thank goodness for the road hazard warranty, which I didn’t realize I had. Anyhow, because I didn’t have an appointment, Manny offered to put on the spare for now until they can get me in. A few minutes later, Manny came back and told me they’ll go ahead and just put on the new tire!! Dealing with unexpected tire issues is stressful enough, but Manny and the team helped relieve that stress. Thank you for the best customer service and quick turn around time; overall the smoothest walk-in service I’ve had!”

“Had two old tractor tires for my small Toro WheelHorse tractor that were leaking air. These guys fixed one with a new valve stem and tried to repair the second as it had a hole in the tire. Tried to repair that with a plug but tire was too old. I'll need two new tires but for now these guys got me back in business. I will return and spread the word. They have a really good selection of slightly used tires that will save you significant $$$ especially in today's bad economy.”

“Three off us ladies were traveling in a rental car from out of state when our car started making a scary noise. We just happened to be in front of Sullivan tire and auto in Peabody so we pulled into the parking lot. The wonderful amazing guy named Drew came out and helped diagnose the problem. We needed a tow but the guys invited us in to call roadside, charge our phones, gave us coffee. I was in a very stressful situation I’d never been in before far from home but Drew made me feel like my dad was there helping us out. You are so lucky to have him. “Pep Boys in Salem, MA and Portsmouth, NH get all of my kudos after helping rectify my situation! I had an appointment booked in Manchester, NH for over a week with a purchase made from their Black Friday deal. I moved my appointment to another weekend to help lighten their schedule. I got a call from the store 35 minutes before my appointment that the tires I ordered were out of stock and they would not be getting them back in stock, after having already driven an hour from Maine with a baby in tow. Their offer was for me to pay $100 MORE than the purchase price of the tires I had ordered. I immediately called the Portsmouth location, who informed me that they did not have the tires in stock but Salem, MA did, and they were going to place a call to their regional director and get back to me. They returned my phone call to let me know that they were not able to transport the tires to their location, but if I could make it to Salem, they would provide the tires and service AND honor my purchase price from my original order. Salem got me in same day and provided timely service, and both locations get an A++ in customer service from me!”
