“Consider this year round shop as the lifestyle department boutique of the entire island ! Abundant selection of contemporary clothing, outerwear, and all around lifestyle apparel, The Green Room has you covered. I own a clothing store myself in a neighboring town and I always refer my customers here. As for myself, I never leave empty handed especially when it comes to Mother Jeans, Citizens of Humanity, and Agolde - I usually buy two at a time.You can tell the owner Elaine is doing something right as her staff are very outgoing and knowledgeable, and all have been working there for years. Belinda the Store Manager does an excellent job buying and merchandising (not an easy task!). The managers Lance and Ari always display excellent service skills, really know their product, and know how to dress for your body type. Don't forget to visit Cassidy down the street in the Shoe Store for a great selection of everyday footwear.*some pictures are during the Covid times but still relevant !”
“Today I walked into faherty for the first time ever there were two workers Lauren and Chesca who helped me out with picking out a new outfit for a last minute dinner! Both girls were nothing but helpful with finding correct sizes for a shirt and pants that peaked my interest. I would highly recommend that you step in and ask them for help whenever you stop in this location!”

“Very nice store. I gave it 4 stars because i feel like a place on the Vinyard should have a little more merchandise with Edgartown or Martha's Vinyard on it . Also, the cashier didn't seem to be fond of dogs . There was a poodle inside, and she wouldn't show me where an item was because there was a dog.”

“Beautifully eclectic and unique in its assortment. The staff clearly loves what they do; driven by the quality of the sale over the volume of sales. One of the more thoughtful group I’ve met in retail. Plus, they’re just super nice people. Cannot beat Rhonda for being the nicest, most attentive. Met co-owner Doug too, chiming in with an occasional well appointed suggestion was a treat too. The ethic of quality here runs strong.
To the people that think they are overpaying; there is a cost to everything. If you want to find a discount site, or a mass retailer for less, they exist for a reason - volume. If you want to skip buying the wrong size, or have your wife later tell you that color is terrible on you, then go to Maxwell & Co. Having a bespoke-like level of attentiveness must be worth something. Taking into consideration the individuals type, tastes, and personality and using that to help inform your choices is a service I would gladly pay for. Maxwell’s version is of the highest order in this service.”
