I've had real problems elsewhere in Essex Co. that have not followed Federal USPS standards!
They, are always efficient, kind/ pleasant, nonpartial, and professional...
I've had to call Postmaster/ Feds because of breaks of personality -problems brought to the job, at other Essex County Post offices...
Saugus, has never been in this category, since, from another state, never either has their Post Offices behaved untowardly...
I've referred persons, to apply for work, when they hire, at Saugus USPS!”

People mistake this for the processing plant all the time--01889, Middlesex Essex is a different place so if you have complaints about your package being stuck, it's not the fault of the North Reading Post Office. Matt the window clerk is always friendly and helpful, I enjoy coming here for my postal products!”

“This location has absolutely the best USPS team in the Greater Boston area. I've visited USPS locations all over the region & I stop at the Day St. location a few times a week. The staff here has been consistently friendly and knowledgeable over the years even when it can get busy, they do their best to keep customers smiling. I some needed extra help today and Roselynn was incredibly patient and thorough, she even called customer service to help me track down the answer I needed from HQ. I also really appreciate the drop-off window at this location so I can pre-pay my packages and not have to wait in line. Please be nice to the staff if you go here, I see how much they deal with in a day in this busy square & they are some really amazing folks!”

I don’t mail things often, so I fumbled through the questions on the screen and made a few mistakes, Juan was very patient with me and kind in explaining the process.I even went back in line because I was so nervous I messed up something up and wanted to see the box again, and he let me assess my box and didn’t seem to mind even though it was the end of the day and near closing time. “I gave a 4 star rating because I've always had very good customer service at the Middleton Post Office, but today I was so annoyed and felt compelled to air my grievance. I called their phone number not once, not twice, but 3 times this morning. It range 11 times then straight to a busy signal. NO ONE would answer the phone! I had a very quick, simple question. All I wanted was my carrier's name so I could put it on her Christmas card. The greeting says to stay on the line for the next available representative. I ended up having to drive to the post office just to get my question answered. The woman behind the counter first said they were too busy to answer the phone this morning, then told me that she didn't even think the ringer was on because the phone hadn't rung all day. Seriously????? I too work in a busy office, but would never, ever not answer the phone. To shut the ringer off so they don't have to is not just bad customer service, it's downright rude!”

“I am assuming she is Italian, not sure. However, the woman in the post office today was completely fun and smart. Beautiful woman inside out despite the line growing. She was so chill and professional. Instead of making me wait again in line. She stamped the letter and I was done already before I know it. I came here once before and let me tell you, the guy I can’t remember what was his name or what nationality he could be from, sure he is white, but definitely from somewhere. He was absolutely hating his job. I had to send two letter certified with return signature requested and he acted like I sent him to Africa to dig some gold in extreme temperature with no water. He was ridiculous. Every job has its positives and negatives. It’s the interactions with the customers that makes your day better. I understand there are definitely rude or vulgar or those who think they are better than everyone else, but the way he was disgusted with his work was concerning. I almost wanted to go to another post office, but too bad I already started filling out the forms.”
