The United States Postal Service at 50 Meridian St is a small, old building close to the Maverick T stop, with limited street parking and often busy times, especially on Saturday mornings. The staff are generally helpful and friendly, with some customers highlighting the excellent service provided by certain team members. Notably, employees like Kelly and Jim are praised for their patience, helpfulness, and for making mailing processes easy. Jim, in particular, is recognized for his outstanding care of customers’ items. However, some reviews mention that the location can be complicated and crowded, with lines often forming due to limited staff availability. Despite occasional frustrations with the complexity and wait times, many customers appreciate the dedicated team and the reliable, affordable mail and package delivery service USPS offers. As part of a nationwide network, USPS delivers to every address in the country and manages over 30,000 retail locations, processing nearly half of the world’s mail. Overall, the Post Office provides essential postal services with a friendly staff that makes a positive difference for many customers.
It feels a little strange to be reviewing the post office, but the East Boston branch has some of the friendliest and most helpful employees I've ever encountered at a post office. They know many of their customers and always offer my dog a biscuit.

The most helpful and friendly USPS staff I've met so far. Didn't have that bad attitude that most ones have, making you feel dumb.

Been going here for the past two years, nicest and most helpful crew I have had around Boston - not to say the others weren't nice - so very surprised by some of the reviews... Always making sure you get the best se4vice for the money instead of trying to upsell, which I very much appreciate. :)
