This is my favorite coffee shop in Boston. On top of being in the most lovely environment, the coffee is always perfect and the food is made with the utmost care and quality of ingredients. Coming here is such a treat.

Waited 20 minutes get a coffee. Only two guys working, who were doing a great job. Way understaffed and tried to get two specialty coffees and they were out of two different ingredients (matcha and caramel). Staff great but run very poorly.

Beautiful, chic, urban. Lovely. Great music. Spoke with Meg who was awesome. Had a ham and gruyere panini which was amazing. Am taking a friend to lunch there this Friday. :-)
It's all in the name. Modern Relik. The mix of the new with the old. Modernity blended with patina and heritage.
We appreciate the classics. But classics seek relevance or they fade into obscurity. Similarly, a room that is too perfectly designed and filled only with modern furnishings abandons the owner's own creative spirit and forsakes the memories and history that led to this very place.
