Winslow's Tavern
316 Main St, WellfleetWe had a fantastic meal last night at Winslow's! Delicious food, with the four of us each ordering different dishes, and enjoying all. We started with mussels in a very flavorful curry-and white wine sauce. We then chose mostly seafood in interesting preparations, as well as a lighter warm squash salad, though there were also non-fish options and a few classic fish and seafood dishes (fish- and- chips, seafood pasta) as well. Desserts were yummy and well- proportioned, neither tiny nor massive. Good for sharing for 2, (or for one who still has a solid appetite for dessert after a good-sized meal). Cocktails were excellent as well. Our server and the man who bussed our table also added to the experience with their helpfulness. The server gave us great descriptions of the food when we asked, and the meal was paced just right. By coming by and tidying up our table after we left a few drips with the mussels, and offering a bit of friendly chat, the man bussing our table also made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The place was bustling, but not loud. Such a warm, delicious spot. We've been to Winslow's twice before in the last two or three years, and have always enjoyed it.

Pearl Restaurant & Bar
250 Commercial St, WellfleetThe absolute best restaurant and our go-to every time we visit the Cape. The service is exceptional, the food is always tasty and the atmosphere is lively, whether visiting in the spring, summer or fall. The manager, Alison, is extremely accommodating and makes every experience at the Pearl an enjoyable one. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

Mac's Shack
91 Commercial St, WellfleetWhen I say I cannot express how amazing our experience was, I really mean it. Firstly, Mac's is a celiac safe establishment. Not just celiac "friendly", but seriously built around safety for people with gluten issues. The owner (Mac) has celiacs and so all the staff are knowledgeable and the menu is about 90% gf. Our waitress, Jolee, was a gem! She was so excited with how excited we were She took time explaining the menu, answering questions, and made sure to check on us often. We will be back on our next trip to Cape Cod, and Mac, if you are reading this, please bring a location to Georgia!

The Block & Tackle
545 US-6, WellfleetGood BBQ joint with real deal fare. Smoked bologna sliced in a big chunk, crusted up on the flattop and turned into an outstanding sandwich.
My wife had the mac n cheese w/ pulled pork topping. Mac n cheese was fire, pork was moist and redolent of oak smoke.
I wish I had discovered this joint earlier in my trip rather than the last night. I wanted to come back and get knee deep in BBQ'd meat and try to eat my way out.
Not too busy when we went. Service was great. Fountain Coke tasted like Coke with no local water aftertaste. Bonus!

29 Briar Ln, WellfleetGreat local place, with excellent dinner and breakfasts. Very casual,but nice place. Service was tough the night we were there but we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't matter. The food was worth it. Such a nice experience that we came the next morning for breakfast on our way out of town. Very homey atmosphere and good prices.
