My 9-year-old cat, Rumi, recently underwent dental surgery with Dr. Guresh, including a full cleaning and four extractions. The entire experience—from start to finish—was handled with such professionalism and kindness. Dr. Guresh listened carefully to all of my concerns and took the time to explain everything in a clear, thoughtful way that made me feel confident and at ease. He was incredibly gentle and compassionate with my cat, which meant so much to me.

The Care Club membership also made the procedure much more affordable. While it doesn’t cover extractions, it does include the dental cleaning and other components of the procedure, and it’s absolutely worth considering for any pet needing dental care.

I also have another cat who will need a similar procedure, and Dr. Guresh helped me make a reasonable, informed decision about the urgency for each cat—taking into account both their health and my ability to space out the financial impact in a manageable way. That level of thoughtfulness and transparency is rare and deeply appreciated. They even sent a get well card afterward which truly meant so much to us!

Oceanside was recommended to me by a family member who really likes them. I had a previous vet that was OK. I was annoyed at having to visit a 24-hour clinic for my older dog. But, when they couldn't see my new-to-me 12-week old puppy because they had no available appointments for a few months, AND I again had to visit a 24-hour clinic for an immediate issue with her, that forced me to find a new veterinarian.

Enter Oceanside Animal Hospital. Every time I call, whoever answers the telephone is pleasant and not short. They happily made an appointment for my puppy, and saw her within a couple weeks! Since then, they have been really helpful and kind.

Dr. Esmond was great! She was really good with both my girls. Not only that, I picked up on her multitasking of giving attention to the puppy while explaining and showing me things. Additionally, she sat down on a bench with me in the exam room, and gave us the time we needed. I absolutely LOVED that! Now, here's the kicker (to me). I asked for a prescription for a caloric-control dog food from a high-end brand I trust to help with my older dog's weight. After she asked if I would consider a second choice, she had no objections to the brand I preferred and took the time to calculate the daily amount. Holly was also attentive to my girls.

Most importantly, both are again current on their vaccinations, or scheduled for followups, and their exams.

“We were visiting on the Cape for a week and needed to be seen on short notice. VCA Hyannis fit us in next day, and we had a wonderful experience. Everyone from the front desk receptionists to the nurses and technicians and veterinarians went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for.Our exam with Dr. Zelman was very thorough, follow-up was great, and you could feel every person in the practice trying to deliver the best possible care for patients and owners. We also got to meet a very sweet puppy lab (what's up Benny!)There's also just great vibes here, and everyone clearly loves their jobs. Especially when we walked in as a new patient after the July 4th Holiday. The intake was fast, and as soon as the front desk realized we were there for a potentially urgent issue, they moved very quickly to get us seen. It really made a difference for us. We highly recommend them and will return if we ever need care on the Cape again. Thanks for a great visit!”

“Dr. Baer and his staff are great. Very knowledgeable and experienced. We had an unplanned pregnancy, and I appreciate the caution that was taken to make sure the pups were not taken too early. When my dog was in labor, at close to 5pm I called and they told me to bring her right in. Avoiding going to the emergency vet and spending thousands. They did an excellent job on my dogs c-section and took great care are her and her pups. No unnecessary testing or costs, or keeping her around for hours. You can tell Dr. Baer loves what he does, and won’t put any pet in jeopardy. Not to mention, they are very reasonably priced. Great experience”
