About Candlewood Suites West Springfield by IHG
Candlewood Suites West Springfield by IHG offers a mix of experiences for guests. Many reviews highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who contribute to a welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the clean rooms and comfortable beds, with some noting the convenience of having a small kitchen equipped with a full-size fridge and microwave. The hotel features a pool and a variety of amenities, which are enjoyed by families.
However, some visitors have pointed out areas needing improvement. A few rooms showed signs of age, with issues like sticky carpets and stretched sheets. Some guests experienced maintenance problems, such as broken lights and smoke odors in the hallways. Despite these concerns, the hotel staff's responsiveness to issues has been noted positively.
While some guests wished for more modern updates and complimentary breakfast options, others enjoyed the available choices and amenities, such as the hot tub and cookies at the front desk. Overall, Candlewood Suites West Springfield provides a decent stay for those looking for affordability and comfort, while also addressing any concerns raised by guests.

The location was good and the price was right. It was a decent hotel and served it's purpose. The driveway to get in the parking lot was a little treacherous in the snow. We found out later there was a much easier alternate entry/exit. Overall it was a good place.
