“These guys do so much more than just exhaust work. I have been going there for all my auto repairs for years. I call them for everything. It's very rare that they refer me to someone else but it's happened a few times on the very biggest repairs I've needed (head gasket and electromagnetic coupler).
Without diving into my filing cabinet to look at all my slips for the 4 cars/vans in our family, they've been doing all my repairs including all manner of exhaust work, struts, tie rods, front and rear brakes, oil and filter changes, rear shocks, bad ABS wheel sensor, the list goes on.
I had previously been having all these types of repairs done at other shops in Pittsfield and this business has earned my trust and loyalty in a way no other shop has. I've sent other people there and you'll be hard pressed to find lower prices anywhere. These guys are ambitious and honest. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.”

I sat in Bob's Country Kitchen talking to the wait staff trying to figure out were I could take the car to be fixed, and probably called five different places. Val at North End Auto was the ONLY ONE who wanted to help. I had the car dropped off in the morning and by mid-afternoon it was ready with a new, high-quality starter. I absolutely love this place. Val is the PERFECT EXAMPLE of a neighborhood mechanic WORTH HIS WEIGHT IN GOLD. Honest, hard working, careful, thorough and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. “I came across Oliver’s while looking for an auto body shop to fix a huge red scratch across my car. Let me tell you, AMAZING. When I came in, I met with Todd who looked at my car and gave me a very reasonable price. I dropped off my car the next day and was ready very quickly. The scratch was completely gone and looked incredible, but when I came home I realized he covered a scratch we talked about the day before! Absolutely INCREDIBLE service!!!! “About a month ago I made an appointment to get new tires on my vehicle and an oil change the following week. Literally the next day I came out in the morning to go to work, and I had a flat. I have AAA and they came and put spare on for me. Meanwhile, I called up and asked if they could put the tires on sooner, and they got me right in, even doing the oil change! I truly appreciate everyone taking care of me during my time of need, and highly recommend them to anyone who needs service on their car.”

“Was driving east on the Mass Pike in my old Ford van when the throttle stuck wide open. stopped it safely, and i remembered that Wilson Wright was at the Lee MA exit just down the road, so i told the tow truck driver to drop us off there.Wilson diagnosed the problem (throttle linkage at the carb) and repaired it quickly and efficiently, and charged me a very fair price. he's an old friend and I highly recommend him.”

“We can’t believe the amazing service and care we received from Peter and his team today. A friend of mine and I are not from the area and came in for the day from out of town. Her car was making some noise and she was afraid she may not make it back him to NY. We Googled a repair shop and Peter was so friendly. Said “take your time at lunch and stop in when you’re done. We walked in and he took the car out for a spin to pinpoint the issue. He knew immediately it wasn’t a safety concern and that it was a plastic casing somewhere that was causing the sound over a faster speed. We were in and out of there in no time and were able to still enjoy our day. What a great guy and his employees were so friendly as well. It’s like we stepped back in time 30 years ago when people used to care about their customers. You don’t see talk at much these days. We HIGHLY recommend this shop!

Everything was done quickly and I was out within an hour of getting the inspection, oil changed, and fluids changed/refilled. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable, prices very reasonable as well.
