“This is an amazing little store. They have a really neat produce walk-in cooler with well kept supply. The prices are reasonable the value and selection is really nice. Fresh breads & pastries. Really nice selection of other fresh and frozen products. Was not expecting how well thought out this small store is”
“Exceeded expectations for sure…we had the Nic Griddle sandwich and the corned beef hash and eggs, and both were fantastic. What might seem like a basic diner place takes extra pride in its food. The corned beef hash was diced fine with peppers added, the hollandaise was unique in a great way, and my wife loved the maple flavored muffin for the Nic Griddle. We will be back for sure!”

“I had a lobster roll unlike any other (and I'm a lobster roll fanatic) it was practically solid lobster tail slightly cut up. Average price, gigantic value.
Now I'm annoyed I didn't get the lobster bisque as well. It smelled incredible, but foolishly I didn't want to over do. That was a mistake ...”
“Guido's is not just a Marketplace. It's a destination. Make it your goal to visit one of its two locations and be enchanted by the variety, quality, and scope of its offerings. The deli section is outstanding and the staff is known for its willingness to serve. Your Berkshire trip is not complete without a stop to shop at Guido's.”
“This place is unreal. It has everything we need as a family that eats high quality food -> Organic and gluten free. We go to the Oak & Spruce resort right down the road often, and we used to buy groceries from Whole Foods in Albany. We didn't realize this gem of a store has literally EVERYTHING WE NEED and more. From grass fed beef, to organic chicken tendies, and a mountain of healthy snack options. In fact, in some ways, it almost doesn't make sense that such a high quality store is out here in the middle of nowhere... BUT I AM GLAD IT IS!!!”
“This is hands down my favorite store in all the Berkshires. Isabel and Bernie took a good store and, over the past three years, made it iconic. Step by step they modernized it, reimagined the offerings, staffed it with a wonderful team.When most of us were staying home during the pandemic years, they showed up every day, demonstrating to the community that when you are essential, and food certainly is, you serve even at your own peril. Thank you.Contrast it to what we typically find now in the food deserts we call our small towns. At the local "marts" you'll find highly processed foods that are terrible for you. Here, at Loeb's, you can delight in local breads, fresh meats, sandwiches made with love, organic vegetables, food staples that are good for you. All at prices that are reasonable! Who knew it was possible. Bernie, Isabel, all I want for Christmas is for every small town in America to have a store, and store owners, with your vision and dedication to the hard work of being the best you can be. Keep it up. You make the challenge of greatness look so simple when in reality it is an art form.”
“What great country store. Lots of unique food items and dozens of bulk items like spices and candy. Sandwiches, homemade goods, and yup garden tools and lightbulbs...worth a visit even if just passing through town.”
“Authentic Brazilian market in all ways. Food and drinks of high quality coming all the way from Brazil and giving you the chance go remember your homeland, for such a nice price. This place has been a heaven for me, since I came to this the Berkshires, and I believe any brazilian or person interested to know or use ingredients or elements of Brazilian cuisine can highly benefit of this place! 5 stars, no doubt!”

“Somehow this place turns a “quick stop” into “I might grab five things and stay a minute.” Clean, organized, and the staff keeps it running like a well-oiled machine.
It’s honestly a one-stop shop for everything—drinks, cigarettes, quick essentials, and even legit hot or cold dinner options. And the deli? Easily the standout. Fresh, fast, and consistently good. It’s become my go-to when I need an easy dinner and don’t feel like overthinking life.
Thank you for simply existing, A-mart! Between the friendly staff and all the options, it’s my go-to spot—hands down.”

“A great little store for the most part - a bit overpriced, but not egregiously so. They have a good selection of dry goods, frozen dinners, produce, etc. and the staff are always quite friendly and helpful. They also host some great community events.It loses some points because it's not actually a co-op in the traditional sense - it's owned by anyone in the community who can pay enough to become an "owner," not by the employees.Also, the cafe and hot bar are ludicrously overpriced and chronically understaffed, and lately the hours have been unpredictable. From what I understand the "owners" have decided that the cafe should be run by one or two people max, leading to long wait times and poor service. The staff are fantastic, but these days I mostly stick to their great selection of premade foods in the cooler.”
“NOT AN ASIAN MARKET. This market shows up when you look for Asian markets in the Berkshires. Sells mostly Central and South American imports for far cheaper than you can get at any supermarket with an internat'l section. Nice staff, great selection of foods, even takes EBT. Almost minus one star for Google mislead, but that's not the market's problem, it's Google's problem.”

“Kudos to the bakery department. I purchased a full sheet cake for a birthday party and the guest were surprised that I got it at Big Y. They loved it and said if they wanted a cake in the near future, then they would have Big Y make it!!! Nice job as always ??”

“The Main Street Cafe entrance is inside the general store. We ate in the cafe. They had a large selection of sandwiches and wraps, and some special desserts. We enjoyed our sandwiches and got pumpkin bread pudding to take home.”

“This food store was perfectly located near our hotel that included a fridge and freezer and microwave. We saved at least a hundred bucks not having to eat out for lunch. In addition, breakfast was included so we were able to afford a few high end restaurants and taverns within Lenox after Tanglewood performances. This store had everything, including hard liquor! Convenient, clean, friendly staff. Plenty of parking. Also, the CVS is in the same lot!”
“The new mgr,there has totally cleaned up the store ,I live near by and go there often and the store has been in bad shape for a long time,I was so surprised to see it looking so good I asked her name and she is the mgr I think it's jessica,I had to tell you because she deserves to know her hard work is noticed in a great way!!!”
“I’ve been going to Rubiners since it opened and never had a bad experience. The quality of everything there is A+. We especially love the olives, the butter, and the aged alpine cheeses but you can’t go wrong. It’s also fun to try a wine, any wine- they have such a unique selection. A gem.”

“As someone who has only Been going to public market for 8 years (during the summer only) I love it! I love the crane lake sandwhich and they just have so many other good sandwhoches and salads. The pre-made items are really nice also and they carry sonny brook farms smoothies which I love!! (They also carry any market style drink / chip / candy along with some other products!)”
